Is that why if we arent spending 30k for a bolt on icon kit, we get treated like trash and that we are in the way while in your showroom?

All about that money, bout that money..... No little man..

That's not totally fair... if anything I would say the SDHQ experience is extremely variable based on the prevailing mood in the showroom.

I have gone in for very cheap things and gotten fast turnaround and left with a smile on my face, but on the other hand I have gone in to spend 10x what I spent on the cheap shit and gotten what feels like the stink eye.

A great example would be my switch pros panel laser cutting. I came in, dropped off my SR package dash unit because they don't usually stock peon truck parts, handed them 40 bucks, then they beat their time estimate by a few days and were pleasant the whole way.:notsure:

On a completely different topic does anyone else have their rubber hood bumpers get soft and collapsed because of the hot weather? I keep getting the symptom where I pop the latch on the hood and the hood does not pop, you gotta dig it open yourself.

My hood bumpers are turned out to the max height but still the issue persists. Does it get solved by new bumpers??

Guess you got lucky then. or maybe it was because you had what you wanted and didn't want to ask questions or talk to them more then 3 words at a time...

Why do your RCI control arm skids look higher than mine? I just installed mine today and they look like they are hanging low...

    Terrible cell phone picture incoming
    IMG_1968.jpg

Good point. I had to run to vatozone today because the tire shop did not notice or tell me that the SCS lugs did not seat on the Enkei wheels at all (major "Oh shit!" moment BTW) and literally everyone who came to the counter was asking some retarded question or bringing up the wrong part. I don't think it gets any better when you are dealing with truck "enthusiast" type people.

I’m running BAMF LCA skids - not RCI.

    That explains it then! :D

The RCI came with little nylon spacers to help line everything up. Kinda neat but visually they do look like they hang low.

Mine don't have any spacers - can you run them without to tuck them up further?

I thought the BAMF just had their spacers welded in...

I guess you could hammer them into place with the spacers off but they seem to work just fine without. Ultimately it comes down to the fact that you do lose some GC with skids- the ultimate high clearance setup would be running none, but then your "warning" is the bolt on your oil pan dragging.

Ok never mind - yes mine do look like that but I guess that's why separate external spacers aren't required.

    How is babby formed?

I was saying that any skid is going to lower ground clearance, but it's something you live with because of the protection it affords you.
