Still should be able to look at the condition of your vehicle.

You’d think. But I bet 80% of drivers don’t look at a thing unless a dummy light comes on or it makes a loud noise. Then when it comes on and they take it to the dealer, they get mad at the mechanic for trying to “upsell” them on unnecessary maintenance.

Another fun rescue weekend at Alamo Lake. A guy the site next to us managed to drop the 36’ travel trailer he was borrowing from his boss on his hand. Completely de-gloved his ring finger down to the bone. I’m still trying to determine how it was possible for his hand to be directly under the tongue. Lots of tongue jacking in a panic situation, trauma first aid, and beer afterwards. Fun fun fun! I’m going on a bad luck streak with adventuring around this state. God help me.

2015 Tacoma owners= what’s your registration renewal fee in 2019?

Have had a registration fee exemption on mine since I bought it, it switching that to my wife’s Avalon since that’s $600/yr.

Reminds me of the worst road trip of my life. Took the wifes car to San Diego to meet some family and drive up to LA for Grandmas funeral. Wife said her tires were out of balance I asked her to get them done at DT before we left she didn't. Truck was vibrating awful and pulling like a mofo leaving town. Stopped for gas in Yuma I looked at the tires in low evening light, the tread seamed fine so figured lost a weight along the way. Get to SD at night after coming down I8 with a death grip on the steering wheel wondering when the truck was just going to flip over it was vibrating so bad and the wheel was off center going straight. Thankfully the relatives lived just a few miles from the big Stone Brewing so I had to stop for a beer just to chill after 6 hours of hell. I check again in the morning and this time crank the steering to full lock only to find the inside tread down to the steel and cracking on the sidewall. Headed straight to America's Tire in the AM for 4 new tires. Still have no idea how we did not blow a tire and end up on the roof.

Hmm, doing some math on refinancing our condo think it is possible to refi and drop both the rate and PMI. Also might be possible to refi into a 15yr note and keep our payment the same as what we pay right now which would be amazing.

Cool meeting @azshooter40 last weekend up at 4 peaks, (sorry I felt like crap all day Sat) but we treated to a pretty epic sunset. Sadly We just missed a big bubble of 12-15 thru hikers that came through Friday afternoon. Caught a few Saturday morning and a big group of 6 Sunday just before we headed down the mountain.
