One more insurance note, depending on your personal health insurance situation. Medical payments coverage is a good one to have. With todays high deductible health plans having med pay will help offset out of pocket max and deductibles if your injured in an accident regardless of who's at fault. It also pays if you get hit while as a pedestrian or on a bike. The best part is unlike having to wait for a liability claim to settle if you are not at fault (which can take 6+ months) med pay coverage can start to pay immediately. I typically recommend enough med pay coverage to cover all or at least a good chunk of your deductible or out of pocket max.

I wanna know why my insurance is so damn high; spotless driving record for the last 9 years, over 25, excellent credit score. I guess my zip code is too ghetto for their liking.

This is true...years ago I moved from one zip code to literally the edge of the adjacent zip code and insurance went up hundreds per year.

Even if were remotely true would only impact a tiny part of your home premiums. Theft claims are typically a small average payout compared to fire, wind, hail, pipe burst, and storm related damage. If you want to blame anything blame the monsoons. Many of the microburst and severe impacts are localized to small areas. So unless it hits us directly we dont think much about it.

Hey guys, does anybody have a abs scan tool or tech stream to purge the abs motor. I just replaced a master cylinder on a 2002 toyota solara and i believe it has an air bubble in the abs module. Any help would be appreciated.

Decided I needed a more manly horn so I upgraded it. No more road runner *meep* *meep*

While I was in there I upgraded the intercooler.

    Tune is next.
Trying to decide between Ktuner (local to Phoenix) or Hondata.
Hondata supports flex fuel with a separate kit. The kit measures the amount of ethanol (E85) that you may have pumped in and adjusts the tune for that amount. Or if it detects plain 'ol 91 octane it adjusts for it. And anywhere in between.

Also installed a slick phone mount. Looks almost OEM.

From Wickenburg take Rincon rd. when you cross the big ass wash turn right, or travel farther nortH on Rincon until it makes a hard right in an abandoned mine area with hazard warnings all over. you will see a parking lot. go through the parking area to the wash and follow the washto the north.

It is about 1 mile north of blue tank rd.

Good lord I had no idea my Si's wheels were so damn heavy... stock wheels & tires are almost as heavy as my Tacoma's current set. 54.1 lbs!!

It's really fascinating all the differences I can spot from just the few pics there. I see brake cooling ducts that I don't have, but also nothing separating flow over the FMIC... cool beans!

If you haven't binned the stock horns, could you just measure their diameter for me? I wanna upgrade to hellas but I think the OD of the "bell" is way off.

Oil cooler, probably. ;) The R's (and 1.5/Si's to an extent as well) run hot and we live in possibly the most unforgiving heat climate in the continental states.

Ktuner seems like a really cool product, but I also get this vibe that they just sort of talk out their ass and never follow through on some things. Just based on some of their postings. :notsure:

Hondata is probably clunkier and less "user friendly" but they seem to put a ton of effort into research.

Also this thread is now about Civics.

Got all the silicone boost piping in, AEM Dryflow filter, a turbo blanket, and a diverter valve. The last of which I know isn't really necessary but after having a plastic/rubber unit rip on me I do it as a matter of course.

Gotta get some wheels for this thing but not regretting going for the "low trim" Si instead of a Type R. :)

Sheep’s bridge via cave creek. How’s the trail/road? Never been out there but was thinking about a night run tonight.

Good idea? Bad idea? Good with directions just don’t know if there’s a ton of wrong turns that can be made.
