    Anyone use plastidip (not spray, in the can) to coat the chain and thingy that holds the spare up? Want to try to stuff a new spare on a ray10 rim under there, but don't want to chew up the rim. Any other suggestions?

    the chain doesnt touch the wheel. just the mount. you could add some foam or rubber to the mount.. or.. flip the wheel face up, that way the mount makes contact with the backside of the wheel.

    I ran my fullsize with the face up with no issues. solves your problem of t
