Your post doesn't have much to do with me personally.
2 people with no accidents/tickets trying to insure the same vehicles.
Price difference is huge between companies.
Agree about the independent agent, why would someone pay more because the agent is 'great'.

old timers like agents who they can talk with face to face. others don’t know they’re probably paying higher rates with an agent. however, if you are in good with your agent, they can decide to waive fees and commissions for you. they own a business and have to find ways to retain customers and make a profit. we don’t really care about their methods because they make us a ton of money either way.

there are probably 100 different rating factors, most of which you don’t know about and have no control over. each company may have slightly different rating factors, although the important ones are the same, but they may weigh each factor differently. how you quote and who you quote through can also make a different in your price.

About 8 years ago I worked for Keystone/ LKQ. Back then I knew every collision center in the valley and could have told you what shops were in your area and if they were any good. Now days I don't have a clue any of the shops.

If you wanted to go to Wickenburg, my dads cousin has a body shop there.

    LoL me too!

Although I have quite a refined taste preference, right now it’s Illy Cafe coffee. I prefer a medium roast to keep the caffeine content high. Light roasts are too smooth and caffeine content too high, I usually end up smashing beetles all day with a hammer if I get a light roast.

This morning Tried the BRC - Coffee or Die, it’s not my cup of tea. (See what I did there?) It’s a blend of a bunch of different beans from all over the world. So it smells amazing and complex. I should have know better, I don’t like blended scotch why would I like blended coffee? Made it in a press for the first batch, was just OK, then made some drip and it was worse.

Going to make some BRC - Just Black tomorrow, it’s 100% Columbian so that should be good to go. I will report tomorrow my findings.

I really want to like the coffee, I like what the company stands for and that it’s veteran owned. I want try their AK espresso roast before I make up my mind on them.

Thanks for the referrals everyone. Sent the pic in to a few places for some bids. Can't imagine it will be too much but don't want to use just a touch up pen since it's down to the bare metal.

agreed. cold brew is where it’s at. as long as it’s done correctly. in fact, the coffee i drink has to be cold. cold, bold and black. probably makes most people puke.

I love USAA, I use to shop ever couple of years, just to feel good about. The other companies finally stopped talking to me once they found out I had USAA. The trick is to bundle with them. Having Checking or savings AND auto insurance gets you another discount.

You seriously need to stop talking about anything associated with insurance. You just keep making an ass of yourself.

    1) USAA full glass coverage does list "lights" as included with windshield and windows (I have screen shots if you need them).

    2) I have motorcycle insurance through USAA. It is managed by Progressive, and the deal I have for all my bikes, still can't be beat by any of the other guys I have contacted. However, I called USAA to set it up, I can view my policy on USAA.com, and it counts towards my "bundle" with USAA. So, I consider it USAA.

    you’re goofy.

    1. i never mentioned what usaa does or does not do. we were talking about allstate and liberty.

    2. you just proved my point. usaa does not write mc insurance. they send you to progressive. it isn’t “managed” through progressive, it is written by progressive. two completely different companies. you can consider it progressive all you want though, if it makes you feel good.

please get your facts straight before jumping in. thanks.

    boom.
