Wow changing over from the TT power steering system with 4 wheel steer to the NA without is a huge pain in the ass. The mount bracket for the power steering pump is different and even the bolts that hold it to the block are different. Finally got it in.

Backed over a barrel cactus today. Only 5241 spines left to pick out of my tire!

Took it up to 90 on the freeway to see if it’d throw some loose, but didn’t do much. I have needle nose pliers and cold beer, so it’ll all work out!

This was a first for me. took my wife's car in for 2 new tires on Wed. Looked closer at them on Thursday to find out they put the wrong tires on! Back on Friday for the correct tires, they made it right. It was the company that has the old lady throwing the tire through the window.

Just made it home. Couldn’t do over 65 indicated mph for the 700 mile drive home due to driveshaft vibes. Give me a few days to collaborate with friends and gather some up.

Here’s the only pic I took.

And my “modified” sliders that don’t let my rear doors open. Sawzall coming out in the morning so I can unload. :sawzall:

Alright guys, need some expertise... front tires are wearing badly on the inside edge and bad vibes at high speeds. I figured my coilovers had settled, throwing it out of alignment. Measured hub to wheel well and height is correct. Jacked tires off the ground, locked out steering wheel and tried to move tires side to side. They both wobble a bit and I can see the uniball (camberg 1.25" uniball uca's) moving and clanking in the socket and also the entire uca moves so obviously the bushings and uniballs are shot and the uca's need to be rebuilt/replaced. What I'm not sure about is if the wheel bearings are also shot. I don't hear them making noise when I drive but does the movement in the tires mean that they're going out as well or could it all be due to the uca's being worn out?

I'd start with the control arms first. I know it will be hard to tell the difference but can you feel movement in the wheel/hub before you see the uniball moving?

That's what I was thinking but I can't really tell. I feel like it's probably just the uca's though

More than likely. Everything gets weird when those parts wear out.

Sounds a lot like the symptoms I had when my uniballs and bushings wore out on my uppers last summer.

I researched a few moths ago and came up with these guys.
I met them and they seem like great guys but the dealer ended up fixing my issue.
Still considering them for a clear bra.
