I was installing a new piece of glass and it just exploded. Not sure if I twisted it or set a corner on the tile or what. It just exploded like a shotgun blast. Glass doesnt like porcelain.

Casual observation from a lurker here........

Is it safe to assume the new cat herding Sheriff and his shill from the Tundra forum are responsible?

Nice little manufactured love fest they had going on here yesterday.

The shill and her new found post count must be too busy selling stuff in the classified section to post here today.

Perhaps instead of feigning his interest in all things Arizona, Mr. Ban Hammer should read this thread.....AZ Mod Day For A Good Cause: August 10th

Thanks Jeep man for shutting down one of the most productive members here in the AZ! Nice work!

Tempered glass does that when you hit the edges. Looks like you still got yourself pretty good with it but it's supposed to not crack into giant daggers. Also apparently defects in the process can make them just explode up to years after they were made, which I didn't know until I read the wikipedia article on it.

    glass definitely doesn’t like porcelain!

One of the coolest things we learned in high school, car windshields didn’t stand a chance against the porcelain part of a spark plug!

something soo small can completely destroy an entire windshield while a large rock barely makes a dent.

So glad you got to leave the shadows, just to what, name call? Such attitude must have been simmering for so long, but I doubt it exists in all the AZ folks.

And good cause from probably a good man. Too bad the same behavior doesn't translate to the forum.

See you around, soon to be neighbor!

    Am I wrong?

I'd say my observation was spot on.

"Got to leave the shadows" because I was always taught that you have 2 ears and one mouth for a reason......

My attitude has only been simmering since the new Sheriff banned a member for "Criticism", funny I've read the COC and couldn't find that anywhere.

Always looking forward to more Californians moving here.

    Hows the selling going?

I’ve been friends with her for a while, not love fest.

So welcome to my teammate and fellow Moderator. @Pinay is pretty awesome.

You all wanted constancy and fairness. Now you shall have it sir.

So who is the Mr. Arizona that you speak of?

I have to stay in high end resorts as well when diving down in ol’ Mexico. It’s worth it.

I'd pretty much characterize it as a love fest, and an awkward one at that. I don't care how long you've known each other.

You'd post and she'd like it, she'd post and you'd like it and it just seemed to go on forever.....Funny, no one else liked any of either of your posts, hence the love fest.

Apparently you didn't read my original post or you would have known who "the Mr. Arizona" is.

Go back and read it if you want to know.

So you all want some consistency right?

I gave another AZ member 30 day reply ban from this thread for telling a member (and known Mod) to leave.

Try not to be so condescending sir, it's not a good look for a mod.

    You know, constancy and fairness?

Not a mall crawler. Not ruining anything any more that what’s already been done.

    Lurk away, not a problem.

Have fun on the trail! Always a good idea to go in a group in case of breakdowns or need help to get pulled out.

    I like funny people!

Not that I want to veer away from mod bashing and everyone getting banned, but...

Engine cage painted and finished up. Truck can finally wheel again.

Well, still need to make new sliders before I get too crazy with any crawling trails

Damn nice work. I probably can't see the separation flanges down by the side of the motor?

So I'm just gonna ask, how far/high have you hucked that bad boy?

No separation flanges at the moment. If/ when the time comes to pull the motor or the s/c I’ll chop things out and add those to get it back together. Biggest huck was probably the gecko road jump in glamis. About as high as the jump in my sig, maybe a touch higher, but cleared a 2 lane road plus another 15-20’ maybe.
