And dare I say it and shill the Ridgeline on here of all places, but for the use cases of a lot of people, all you really need is a Unibody pretend-truck.
It can bring your dirtbikes down a trail, it can get you out to a shooting spot, and it can go on some scenic easy trails.
The other 5 days of the week it's a comfortable, practical Oddysey with a pickup bed that, comparatively speaking, won't feel like a boingy ox cart.

If it were more competitively priced it would be a real winner, I think. For the comparable ask though, Tacoma beats the shit out of it.

At least we don't have to use pre-mix every time we fill up to stop the Dorito from flying out the hood.

The Korean flag reminds me that the KIA stinger GT's seem pretty cool. 2021 they are doing a re design that I think makes the front end look worse. Could probably snag some good deals on 2020's. And of course the interiors blow the Tacoma out of the water. Plus aftermarket is slowly developing for them as well.

I got a turbo car with the Z. Just gotta get the heads back on it. I also have a truck with the white 90.

What I think we need as a family is a 4 wheel drive SUV. But 4runner is out of the question at this point.

I think Kia is still struggling to escape their reputation from the 90's, and the quality is not only there, it's far outpaced what most people think it has.

Honestly don't know too much on that since I was born in early '03. Everyone I know who has owned Kias have stayed with Kia since their first.

A large amount of people on here are. Most people my age are focused on different things than myself. Honestly I fit in with people on these forums better than the rest of people my age.

Also gotta hand it to Honda, that rear seat storage setup is on point. Folded up or down it's way more useful than the Taco.

The Tranny is definitely my least favorite part of the 3rd gen, I will say that after OVtune it's been much better, but still not 'pretty damn good' as you would expect out of a 40K truck from a company that has had a shit ton of experience building vehicles. I've had good luck other than that out of my Tacoma, but not sure if I'd get another one. I do really like the F150s and maybe even a Sierra 1500, but I do think I would get annoyed by the size/parking on the daily. Not to mention that we are talking about 60K for something with bells and whistles (cuz i'm fancy AF of course) Just such a bummer that there isn't something that's 'Really Good' from the factory in the midsize truck segment (especially at current price points)

Yeah I always want more bells and whistles too. Can't get an SR5 4runner for 42,000 dollars that doesn't even come with push button start.

the 3rd gen definitely comes to life when you rev it, but it would be amazing if it had some strong low end. My sister had an Oddysey and the drivetrain response was awesome, but man the styling on the Ridgeline...:puke:

He may be onto something. f150 ecoboost swap it. With the 10 speed. We all believe in you.

The Honda 3.5 is a good motor that's been around for ages and has only recently really been let down by the decision to go direct injection only.

But yeah the Ridgeline is kinda tragic looking too.

I test drove a Tundra and F150 before getting my new Tacoma! Loved the V8 in Tundra but once I tried to park it, game over. I have to park in a parking garage at work and it would be a pain in the rear.
Love the space in the full size ones too but, the Taco just works for me.
