Yep that was mine, it turned out really friggin nice. I even had Ryan do some custom tweaks and he made a few of his own that really put it over the top. Well worth the time and money! Ill dig up some pics when Im not on my phone.

G'mornin all...looking for windshield replacement referral in the North Phoenix area?

    1F9AF0DC-EF1B-4575-B73F-164AB1A8F66A.jpg

From initial research, looks like OEM glass is between $800-$1,000 installed w/camera/lane assist re-calibration, just hoping the brain trust here could get me point in the correct direction for my 2019 OR DCSB...TIA.

I just had mine replaced with Safelite. I don’t get all the hype. I am hoping for a massive crack so I can get rid of this windshield and got back to the OEM glass. I have an earlier 3rd Gen without all the TSS equipment.

Ive read Safelite isn’t the best…what issue do you have with the glass that was installed?

Got a good lead from Jay @state48overland, Owen from Perfect Touch Auto Glass got right back to me when I called. Working a quote now.

Not quite “north phoenix” but Camelback Toyota has an in-house glass company. Ive had a decent experience with them.

I’ve got a whistling noise when it’s windy and I’m on the highway. Has to be a unique situation so it’s rare, but it’s there and when it happens it’s annoying. I also think the shape/profile is not the same as OEM. I think the toyota glass is viewable from side to side, but safelite is distorted on the sides, like a fish bowl. When I get chips, this one is gone and back to OEM. They also did a shit job cleaning up. I had a bunch of glass shards all over the inside of my truck.

Welp, desert bros. Had a run planned from Phoenix, to Hassayampa, up to Prescott, Jerome and Sedona but that all went away like ashes in the wind.

Well, my weekend isn't completely shot. My local lakes on forest service land are still open. Figures the government would keep the things open where you have to pay for parking. Close the public land forest but keep the revenue streams open.

At least I can checkout/ fish Goldwater lake.

I live in Prescott Valley. Originally had plans to take the lady camping up at Lake Mary, obviously those fell through Wednesday.

My buddy has a cabin in Breezy Pine so I’m getting familiar with that area. I was going to get off the 69 at Poland and follow that to SR 261 until I hit Senator but it looks like that’s closed to non-residents.

Bummer man. I don't know how strict they'll be with closures ie the gate closures. Personally they can kiss my ass, public land is public land when I'm traveling through the forest to reach a destination.
