They must make a good profit on those. The guys I know at my Discount that I frequent say its the #1 tire for replacment due to sidewall issues at their location.

Did you look at the cooper AT3? Or the new Falken?
    Pretty good prices on those.

Unless I find a good deal on used off the forum, I think that the next tire I do might be the Falken.

FWIW on my 5700lb tundra they are okay so far as far as wear goes. 6k miles. But also I can feel how soft they are.

Don't do KO2S, unless you want to have your tire to pre mature wear to fast like mine, and start to chunk out

On the wheel subject. I wouldn't get wheels from discount. For something affordable I'd look at rota grid off road, Konig off-road, kmc, pro comp, other toyota rims, etc.
Probably looking at close to a grand and methods and SCS aren't much more than those and both built stout.

Beadlocks are sweet as are the faux ones. Doubt many here sub Ryan would need em though as a bunch of us wheel at 12-17 psi regularly without issue. Not much need to go lower on our lil wheels.

Oh and 17s are the new 16 apparently. We would go that route if we ever bought new rims.

For tires....toyo and Cooper are your friends. Quality, price, balancing, durability.

This is at 5 to 6k miles, I lost track. But I can already tell they are starting to chunk. Like most have been doing.

Here is something else for you to think about. Brandon just got 2 new tire machines and has an account with Transamerican who supplies 4wp.

I needed wheels and tires asap, got the wheels for $50 a pop and already pulled the trigger on the ko2's until @christhebassman posted up i had never really heard anything bad about the ko2's. Theyve got a 40k mile warranty so I'm not really worried about it.

Theyre on the truck now anyway..

I haven't chunked mine and they are at least 20k on them.
