Camping was awesome, however, the littlest one woke up with a fever. So we packed up and came home a day earlier.

I want to say thank you for all those who offered to help me out and those who prayed for my fiancée she made it thru surgery and now is in stable condition now the waiting game starts to see what damage had been done. You are all family to me I hope I can return the favor someday.

    Pics from my Utah trip

Friday we drove from ASU to Horseshoe Bend, just in time for sunset.
[IMG]GOPR2083 by Connor Rhoades, on Flickr

I wish the hike was a tad harder so that there wouldn't be 20 thousand people there.
[IMG]DSC_0088 by Connor Rhoades, on Flickr

Obviously there was no camping near Horseshoe Bend, and everything near Lake Powell was full. So we drove straight to Utah. Found a nice dirt turnout on an Indian Reservation and called it a night.

Truthfully never seen so many stars.

We were really close to the highway though haha
[IMG]DSC_0116 by Connor Rhoades, on Flickr

Saturday morning we drove into Cedar City, UT for breakfast and then hiked Kolob Canyon Creek Trail in Zion National Park.

After that we drove through Zion to Bryce Canyon.

Then it was off to Horseshoe Bend again for some night photos.

Then we drove home. 1,200 miles in a day and a half.

Question for you Gopro people. I got a Session a few months ago and haven't really played with it much other than taking it on a couple of trail with you tw'ers. It seems like my videos are really choppy when the videos are uploaded to the computer. Not sure if it's my computer or the fact I have the gopro set on 30fps. If it's because I have it on 30, would bumping it up to 60fps make the video smoother, or going to 60 make it seem like I am going really fast.

    Thanks in advance!
