You know, I liked Robert Rodriguez. I loved the Mexican Trilogy when I was younger, and I also really enjoyed Sin City.

I was hoping that version of Rodriguez could bring the magic to Boba Fett..

But then I remembered that he also did Spy Kids. Third episode sealed the deal for me. This is some of the worst television I've watched in a long, long time.

Power command center ended up turning out wayyyy better than I anticipated!

Went Renogy, Controller is a DC to DC with built in MPPT, 100ah Lithium house battery, 1000W inverter, BlueSea DC panel.

Had leftover space on the 23" x 23" panel so I added the ARB dual comp to the panel as well.

The panel is thin sheet metal from HD. Reinforced it with 4 pieces of angle aluminum riveted to the backside. All components are attached to the panel via M5 nutserts for one tool removal. There is one common grounding lug on the upper right corner.

It is connected to the tracks built into the ACCC.

Now I just need to wire it up! Common ground is affixed to frame and power wire from starter battery is also ran into the camper. Penetrated the bedside near the house battery with waterproof fittings.

Took the trip out on its maiden 'campered' voyage this past week. A friend and I wanted to test it out, to see what it is like, even though it isn't complete at all.

I have to say, after spending a lot of time and trips using an open bed with a more common rtt on a bed rack, this setup is worth every single penny. The enclosed nature of the bed is much, much nicer and more comfortable. The wedge tent is so convenient it's not even funny. The side access through the hatches is just awesome. The entire setup just feels way more natural to use in my opinion. I am excited to keep improving it and making it better.

Oh, and the Shadow Awning is just insane. Massive coverage and is completely deployed in all of 22 seconds. Packing it back up takes just a hair over 60 seconds. The fully cantilevered design is just unmatched IMO. This thing takes making shade to a level I did not know existed!

We brought along our mountain bikes to ride while in Sedona. Installed two fork mounts to the rear molle panels and hung the bikes from there. Used ratchet straps, temporarily, until the rear tire trays arrive and I can affix those to the bumper caps. First couple of times it was cumbersome to get the axles inserted, but it's easier now that I have done it a few times.

3rd episode was horrible. Kids on Vespas, chase scene that looked like they're going 2mph. Just terrible.

The chase scenes premise was so stupid, too.

"We need to talk to the mayor"
*Proceeds to pull the worst "fast-one" ever*
"Spy Kids rejects, he's getting away! Get him"
*The slowest, stupidest chase scene through Tatooine ever*
*Boba flies up on his Jet pack at the very end*

"The Mayor is with the Pykes"
*Scene ends with no consequences or repercussions at all for anyone*

    What the fuck.

Im taking it as it goes. There was very little on Boba before and I doubt Disneys woke culture will even refer to his ship as Slave1.
That being said, they are fun to watch. I thought this last week was a good episode and the new Wookie bounty hunter was cool.
Obi wan is shaping up also to look good.

I guess at the end of the day im glad to see Boba even a story line in the Disney owned Star Wars. I think Dave Filoni is doing a great job where Lucas left off.

Dave Filoni is the saving grace to Star Wars and I wish he was in charge of the Sequels... But on a fundamental level, this Boba series is flat bad.

Pause Episode 3 at 33:13 and tell me how many 2x4's you see. Hint: It's way more than you should ever see. And all in a scene and sequence that add literally nothing to the plot of the show.

They keep adding these characters and the only one that's been remotely developed was the one badass Tusken Raider.

So my brothers Titan has been totalled out by the insurance and he's looking at joining the Tacoma family.

Bittersweet moment because this is the worst time to do it.

That's out of the budget for sure and he's looking to downsize as it is. He wasn't exactly planning on buying a truck so the payout will be a down payment at best.

For reference, his Titan was a mid '00's model with around 190k miles on it. It was paid off so he's bummed about having to get a payment.

Well, if anybody was angry at the traffic on the 17 northbound north of Phoenix yesterday afternoon, sorry…

Apparently somebody left a propane grill in the middle of the freeway causing people to stop. I barely avoided rear ending the person in front of me then got hit from behind by a Ram truck. Ended up being a seven car pileup by the time it was done. No injuries for anybody involved, but based on the pictures and the opinions of some trusted friends I’m assuming I have frame damage and that this thing will be totaled out by the insurance. The bed hit the back of the cab and the gap is noticeably smaller now especially on the passenger side.

Not sure what direction we’ll go after this. I’d love to get right back in a Tacoma but I’m also looking at a 4Runner or even a Ranger (sorry, I at least have to give it a test drive to see how the drivetrain—especially the transmission and ECU—compare to the Tacoma).

I’d love for the insurance to say it’s all fixable and covered and I can keep this thing but I am not counting on that.

Not anymore, but you can tell that the gap between the box and cab is smaller than it used to be, especially on the passenger side. There is also noticeable damage on the back of the cab from the bed hitting it during the initial collision.

I-17 is the worst highway. I don’t understand why people immediately start driving like shit as soon as they get on the 17. Doesn’t matter if it’s Flagstaff or Phoenix. Drivers become primal as soon as the hit the on ramp.
