Anybody use any harbor freight tools? I know their reputation but anything with out moving parts should be good right? My $$ go a lot further there than they do elsewhere. Any recommendations on a torque wrench? I don't want to break the bank but I would like a decent one.

That's what I mostly use on small things. I tend to keep my rachets and sockets with Husky, but most other tools I've gone with them. Plan on using them for other things as well like jack and jack stands

I once made a fake CL ad for my buddy's Harley in like 10 different cities. Playing the wife in a divorce sale, get it out of here type thing. "Any reasonable offer accepted". With his phone number, right before Sturgis.

Dude was getting phone calls and texts every 3-5 minutes.

I have a few harbor freight things. I was able to score my torque wrench from Sears. They had a wicked sale. Maybe watch them unless you need it right away? Or you could borrow one?

    X2.

And tools for carrying inside the truck.

But hands down best thing in that store for the money are the 42" (44"?) toolboxes. Things are awesome & if you're not a professional mechanic they will do everything you need and last forever

I have a craftsman half inch drive ratchet set but its only got a few sockets. I want to expand on that and either get another ratchet in 3/8th or an adapter maybe. Need a breaker bar too.

Don't need one right now but I need to start getting a real set together, for my bike and truck so I can actually work on stuff.

I have my 10lb co2 tank so at some point I want to get an impact wrench to have. Electric might be the way to go there :notsure:

Yeah I just bought a 1/2 electric impact from harbor freight. It has worked pretty well. It will loosen the lugs on the truck.

I would look at lowes and shop the kobalt line when it comes to hand tools like these. Just be patiant and wait for sales or deals to build your sets or collections, the have a lot of clearance or half off sales, and can always find some kind of 10-20% off coupons on the next or 15off $50 coupons as well to make it even better. The main thing is there lifetime return policy crack a socket, or strip something in a driver take it in and grab a new one off the shelf or comparable. The torque wrench is included in this, so you may pay $20-30 more for it but you know you won't have to pay again for one.

The Left side sun visor on my Tacoma has the common failure mode of hanging down and will not stay up either toward the widshield or back against the cieling. It is a SR-5, Access Cab, visor has the gray cloth.

I looked online and GULP! $188.00 for the one visor!!

I just requested a price quote from Camelback Toyota here in Phoenix and hope they can cut that price a bit.

My visor has been bad since I had 15,000 miles on the truck. I bump my head on the damn thing getting in and have to hold it up with my hand to see traffic lights. Hopefully a new one will last longer. This is about the only part of my Tacoma that is really a bad design. Anyone know of a reasonable replacement part?

I see some online part places selling a different visor with a vinyl cover instead of cloth, but as my truck is nearly new I want it to look good, not a bunch of cobbled up pieces in the interior.
