Would be interesting to see a flood map of the same area. Hopefully Doney Park doesnt turn into Lake Doney Park.

The only time doney really flooded, the water main broke on the same day and dumped an extra 2M gallons. Learned this from a local this past weekend.

Anyone got a recommendation on a company for a home ac repair?

System isn’t turning on currently, but fan inside will turn on and blow semi cool/warm air, but not hearing the compressor or anything outside then on, Breaker is fine, so could be a number of things so just going to have to get it looked at and go from there.

    chandler area as well.

About this time last year the same thing happened to my AC. Fan would run but wouldn't blow cold air. Wound up being the compressor motor. It was super hot last spring and all the heating/air companies were swamped. I paid an arm and a leg to get Parker and Sons out next day because they were willing to consider it an emergency repair. I called all the other major players and nobody would even come out to diagnose. So I guess Im recommending Parker and Sons, even though it was pricey.

Yah they are deep on my list of possible people to call, I’ve got a few family run business recommendation places from
Some neighbors and such, guess it’ll just boil down availability. But my googling pointed me to the compressor as well as a possibility, along with the condenser line being clogged and it shutting itself off at the unit itself for a safety measure, and or dust debris blocked the fan and did the same, or a fuse up top.

I didn’t see any drips or water on the roof though like a condenser coil was leaking or anything like last time though so I guess that’s good? Lol. But yah, 2 story house with a steep ass roof, I’m not even bothering trying to get up there to diagnose it.

Could be something as simple as the capacitor. But yea, if its up on the roof. Then difficult to just go check it.

Yes, but the Odyssey can barely clear the speed bumps in the school parking lot. This, I should be able to at least get the family down the rim road and such. Some light stuff up in Utah

Final call on the field….. it was the capacitor. Air is back up and running.

$30 part that becomes $300 with "Emergency call" billing.

Yup, truth. Wasn’t an emergency call at least, but I also know I’m not climbing my roof, that normally requires them to wear a rig and anchor in, after using one ladder to get onto the patio, then another ladder to get to the roof from there, then climb up a steep roof lol. I’ll pay and just deal with the bill.

But yah trust me my do it yourself attitude hates spending 10x for a part, but it is what it is.

Oh shit, yea if your roof requires rigging to safely climb it. Ya, F that. Here's your money, you better have your own insurance cause I have my own disclaimer.
