I recommend trying to find the reservoir mounts that come with the Tacoma 5160 shocks. I used my old ones and they look tits. Bilstein might sell them separately but not sure.

The Fox mounts work well for other brands, from what I understand...

I used some 2.5" resi mounts from Kartek. Little pieces of steel you weld to the frame.

I had a different set for my 5160's and they were awesome. I was not sure of the brand, but I couldn't find them when I was gathering parts for this install.

I'm very late to the party, but I always expected I'd get steel skids since they will help lower the center of gravity and repairs are doable with a basic MIG. Also, steel tends to bend, aluminum tends to crack..

Yeah, I've had an open spot for almost a year. Interviewed a couple, not really a fit. Basically a prototype shop. Sinker, Wire, manual, CNC 2, 3, 4, 5 axis. Old stuff, New Stuff, just not any blue stuff (Matsuura)! Choose your own adventure. Esprit, FeatureCAM, Fusion, Creo.

I welded something on one of my vehicles for the first time!! Dont worry @snowsk8air2 I wont be stealing any of your business

Kartek reservoir mounts for the 7100s on my Blazer. After some grinding and paint they look ok and work well.

Hahaha. Dont worry, there are plenty of bigger Blazer projects for you that will be coming around soon. Its a crappy Harbor Freight thing Ive had for a few years and havent done much more than tinker with. It works for shit like this but I wouldnt attempt anything structural or serious with it. I need a lot of practice regardless of the machine.
