Heading up to the White Mountains/Black River area with Jake tomorrow and will be out there through Sunday for some camping and fishing. If we see any other Tacomas I'll try to snap a few pictures. We were originally going to go to Telluride/Lizard Head but the weather was going to suck until Friday for camping and fishing

I am also waiting on time to see if I can make it or not. This would be my first time, so do we bring anything with us? How long is the trail usually? Would a stock 2023 Taco TRD OR be okay or a lift is needed/recommended?

Its a taco tuesday beer and food meet up. Trails are usually on the weekends. So bring yourself, a great sense of humor and your wallet.

Whats up gang!?! We're finally getting back out west again(currently in state #37/48 ) and will be heading to The Badlands and/or Black Hills for the next 2-3 nights. We've never been and are looking for wild camping spots. Anyone have secret locations they'd share?

Anytime dude! And no trail runs or camping trips in the mix as far as I know right now. But in the camp thread will be where that is posted up as Jacob said.
Welcome back to the best coast! As for the camp spots I am no help. Never camped there.

Made it to the Badlands and so far the weather is living up to the name. Quite windy and a little rainy but the starlink is cruising at 75mbps. 38 states and counting! Havent installed the South Dakota sticker yet.

Anyone in the valley get fucked up by that storm last night? We got some good lightning and rain in surprise but in other parts of the valley there were fallen power lines and crazy winds.

That Monsoon storm that came through last night was something else. Never been in a Microburst before, but that was intense. Driving on Recker this morning going to work every power poll was down from McKellips to McDowell. A number of prop planes flipped over at Falcon Field, uprooted trees, and more destruction. One good thing is that the Taco didn't have a tree fall on it or even any damage whatsoever.

This weekend will consist of helping with cleanup and chopping tree limbs off. Good times for sure!

You are scaring Supr4Lo. Monsoon season is short enough usually, shorter this year. Should be smooth sailing except for the incline for arrival, but yeah ... possible higher wind hitting that UHaul would make for fun, until the storm passes after 5 minutes.

We actually just got missed at McLellan / 87, good thing too. We got hit about 5-6 weeks ago, and the microburst was bad enough to tear down a few cinder block fences, rip out a 5-foot diameter tree by the roots, ripped off a couple of roofs and evacuate a neighbor's brand new solar panels.

I mostly feel bad for the neighbor whose new unlaid packs of shingles made their way, well, everywhere. Whoever their contractor was is an idiot for doing way too early of prep work, or not watching the weather.

Ran a moving company and pulled a 20 foot trailer back at home in GA.

I still made the very conscious decision to sell everything that wouldn't fit in my 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix for the road trip to the desert because I refused to take those 27+ drive hours in a box.

We've been chipping away at outages and storm damage. This has been my first "storm" that I've worked in AZ. The way the wind just blows poles over is weird.

When we lived in TN, a huge storm came through one night, and knocked a tree on to my dads lifted colorado, and our Speed3 Hatch show car. The colorado was relatively fine, and we had to repaint the roof on the mazda. all in all, an very cheap tree incident lol

I think we were all glad the hombre was in the garage, bc that would have been reeaall bad lol
