Anyone going to Barrett Jackson this year?
Debating heading over early next Sunday morning(last day of the event). Ticket prices are cheap $29 vs $104 for Saturday and in the past I've found Sunday morning to be pretty quiet and a good time to walk around to get a better look at the cars. Usually bail before the NFL playoffs start

I'm starting to see the light on why you guys hate mud. Desert dust turns to soup immediately!

Today my usual traffic-avoiding back route home, a dirt road past some farms, had turned to total shit. I get maybe 200-300 yards down it, notice that the super doody I saw when I turned down the road isn't just pulled over but is straight up mired with its rear axle having sunk one wheel fully. Didn't see anyone in it or in need of help so I turned around and went back to the paved route, not in the mood for a fucking adventure.


This was after I let it sit outside in the rain for 3 hours!

 

mmmmm the new developments we're working in Casa Grande are going to super fun....

 

Fuck mud. It sucks working on the truck after. I go insane with the power washer and get in the frame and the entire underside.
Nothing more pleasant than someone bringing their truck to you for work and the underside is covered in mud.

 

Got approved for the house in Glendale. Move in on the 2nd. Can’t wait to finally have a garage and back yard again. Going to make wrenching so much more pleasant. The real question now is how shitty is the HOA going to be?

 

So, please forgive me but I avoid the lamestream media as all they report is “bad” news. I don’t need to hear how many people were murdered or how many people died in an ______ accident.

I didn’t realize our vacation retreat to the west was under water. Hope everyone and their families are doing ok.

Heyo, they are playing Footprint Center on Feb 10th. Wife and I are going. Cant fucking wait, bucket list concert for sure.

 

I was approved for a rental house near the 48th street entrance to South Mountain Park. I will be living 1/4 mile fome a path into the park, 1/2 mile from being in the park. It is a 55+ (old fogeys) neighborhood, but it has 2-car garage!

 

Today, an old neighbor and friend of ours adopted the cat that got shot.
