Hey guys. Does anybody have some recommendations on a spot where I can camp and shoot? Looking to go out sometime next month.

Currently there are no fire restrictions in Coconino National Forest. Since its a National Forest you are allowed to target shoot, so long as you follow the rules. https://www.fs.usda.gov/activity/coconino/recreation/otheractivities/?recid=54884&actid=106

That being said, we got a lot of rain earlier this summer but we're in a very dry pattern right now. Dont be surprised if restrictions come back soon. Either way, be extremely careful.

Yeah completely agree. I've been looking at the restrictions constantly. I like to find some secluded areas away from any other people. I've had my fair share of run ins with people that act like idiots and leave messes.

Up in that area just plan on where you want to try and just start driving down roads and exploring. Find a good back stop and clean up after yourself. If I knew that area better I could point you in some directions but I dont.

I just did a quick trip last weekend to Dosie pit rd. About 10 miles out of Prescott on Iron Springs headed South. One rd in and multiple spurs to set up a target to shoot. Not much room for camping.

Talking about Doce, about a 1/4 mile farther down on the right (as you are going west) is Contreras Rd. I haven't been, but have heard it's another option.

Would you happen to take an odd job? Picked up a Wilco tire swing for dirt cheap from someone who ruined the hitch insert drilling it for their truck so want to do a few things to it.

All good. I've been seeing those welds and figured it didn't hurt to ask.

What is it that you wanna do?? Im fixing to setup a day with a few members to burn on some Cab mounts? I could probably get your hitch fixed in the same sitting?? Make a fun day about it again at my place? Weather is cooling down and fixing to get back into some cooler Mod days!

We had a good crowd last time but will have to keep it a little smaller. I dont have the funds to be renting another shitter for a day event! Worked out last time because I had back to back events at the house and needed it for the large party.
Need to see when the other will be ready and try and plan with them, Keep ya all posted!
