I don't remember needing any specific seal removal tools for the driver's side (or passenger) seal.

A little leak isn't going to hurt anything for a short period, if you get worried about it before you get the replacement seal you could always top off the dif.

I was probably going to top it off so it’s not empty till I get replacement parts. I doubt there’s any fluid left since it only holds 1.6 qts and there’s fluid every where

I doubt it'll be all the way empty a little oil makes a big mess. Adding gear oil to the front dif can be a little tricky at times. A few feet of vacuum line or fuel hose can make it easier if you don't have a fluid pump

Thankfully I do have a vacuum pump on hand and did a drain and fill on the diffs not long ago

I think you’d be surprised what 1.6q looks like actually dumped out, it’s a shit ton of oil.

I didn’t have any cash to try it out.

As far as my tee shot, let’s just say I’m glad it was a best ball tourney.

So I went to add fluid to the diff and as soon as it began pumping it started running out of the diff fill hole. Which as fair as I am aware is how you tell it’s full. I checked my fumoto valve and it seemed to have loosened up from when I installed it but did not appear to be leaking. So I’m confused now about what’s actually leaking since the diff and skids are the only things coated in oil

I’m sure it’s the diff, like I said you’d be surprised how little oil it takes to look like a huge mess. If you want to, take a can of brake clean and clean up the oil and keep a closer eye on it to see where it’s coming from.

I cleaned it up before and after topping it off with brake cleaner. I will keep an eye on it and do the seal and ecgs bushing at the same time I guess once I track the leak down

Looking to order some hardware for the Taco from a dealership.

What's the best dealer to play ball with for that kind of thing? Or an aftermarket alternative?

Looking for the last two bolts for the skid plate (my truck only had the front four and that's all I've been rocking), as well as the support L-tabs and appropriate bolts for the rear bumper (swapped to the OE hitch-bumper and the SR didn't come with those).

I did a cursory look on RockAuto and didn't see any of them listed.

    Part #'s are
    51998C (x2)
    90119-A0192(10) (x4)
    90080-11373 (x2)

Writing this out made me realize I can just google those PN's but I'll keep the post up in case anyone has some insight.

Unfortunate ... I have used them about 3 times in my life ... and not at all in 4 years.

I could smell mine pretty strongly even with just a small leak. The smell is what I noticed before anything else and that's why I went looking for a leak in the first place.
It could be motor oil. If the oil filter leaks it usually ends up on the dif or even the valve covers. It's hard to say without a visual.

Looking at a "camping" thread for ideas on many things. Leaning against freeze-dried or MRE except for 2 -3 meals during a trip and instead bringing parts/pieces (pasta sauce in bags, they say exist) and chicken in zip bags and whatnot. MREs were mentioned but mainly as "no boiling water needed". I used to live just far enough in the just-recently-country that a military surplus shop was only 2 miles from my house, but never purchased and MREs from them.

Just exploring options ... I suspect you are right after the ones I tried that are pricey from REI.
