We joke, but California does not give much leeway in its firearms laws and one cannot play games.

 

Nope cant play games over there. But I do see to some degree why they have those laws. As a recovering California resident I have seen some shit.

Long story short Back in college I worked in down town long beach. On my way to work one day (middle of the day) some guy did not want to get pulled over so he jumped out of the car fucking quick and shot right into the windshield of the police car shooting both cops and took off. He had high cap mags. I was just a block away and heard the shots. Fucking crazy.

course the problem with Cali isn’t the hi cap mag , it’s that the gentleman in question likely had prior felonies but instead of being incarcerated was allowed to just live his best life

 

Oh he was a felon for sure. I tried finding the article and photos but a quick search has a bunch of shootings in the LBC just over the lst couple weeks. I am not going to try and dig back20 years ago.

Also great to know. We are both in HVAC (and I do plumbing as well). Already planned on lightweight shirts and covering up. Don’t want to look like a blown out leather wallet.

AC is gonna be the killer. We had our house in NH at like 62, usually colder at night. The one thing we didn’t have was ceiling fans in every dang room. That helps a lot!

AZ gives you an online account to manage your registration and license ... easier to do things without the visit to the office. Bring a birth certificate to get your "travel-approved license" instead of the basic license. AZ charges registration based on the value of your car ... for my truck it was $480.

Seems like a big group. I’ll talk to the wife and see. It’s a fun trail and would give us an excuse to use the new camper and test things out before thanksgiving. But we wouldn’t get there until late Friday and would make that our base camp so we’d have to make it back there Saturday.

I went to work on the runner on saturday and it wouldnt start. I think its just a battery issue so its been on the tender for the last couple days. Going to fire it up when I get home. I started trying to mount my reverse lights but I need some longer bolts and smaller fucking hands to get into the bumper.

 

With all this fancy technology there is these days you'd think they'd make us a smaller hand for tight spaces by now.
