Its a weird one. The spot is tight, the light fits on the inside of the bumper then there is now room to get a wrench in to tighten the lock nut.

 

Yeah last time I did it was about 4hrs but that was just 2 LT trucks. And the first time I did it in like 3 but that was just single vehicle lol. I’ll talk to the wife and see. Regardless if we are camping then we are trailering so we’d need to buzz back down the hill to camp.

Ya That bitch aint coming off easily, Hope you wrote them a letter and explained better tolerances. She was a tight fit for sure.

 

Can reach in there and tape it, glue it or something to get it to stick long enough to start the threads?

Yeah that aint happening. plus wouldnt solve the problem. Only way to do it is from the top hole that is visible. I will text you a pic tonight.

No didnt bother writing a letter. I talked to him a bit about it but that was it.

 

I almost just need to let the light dangle off the one furthest bolt to get it going then rotate the light up and get the other bolt in. I think that is going to be the plan of attack. Luckily the wife is going to be out of town all weekend so I will have plenty of time to fuck around with the runner and the few things I need to do to her truck.

 

Hope that works. Isn't it nice when the wife leaves?!?! I get so much more done when my wife is not home. Plus I don't get the stink eye every time I'm filling up my glass..

Very much so. She is leaving this weekend then I am gone the following. Then we will hang out the next 2 together and not get shit done.

 

Haha.. that's about how it goes for us. Good thing we don't mind just sitting around and not getting anything done every once in a while.

This is a long shot, but does anyone have a clutch alignment tool for the 6spd R-A60 transmission?

 

What's it look like? I have a specialty clutch alignment tool that's thicker than standard, forget what it's from though. Splines or no splines?

 

I would prefer one with splines to make mating to the transmission already on the truck easier.

Yeah e got about 6" of snow sunday night into monday morning. Then this morning it snowed till about noon. Supposed to do the same thing tomorrow morning. Its winter now. haha
