    I wouldn't worry about the weight savings unless you also plan to use that for a trail jack and take it with you off roading.

    yep.. it will fit. just screw the threaded knobs in, without the U bracket, and it fits perfect. try a test fit, you'll see :)

    I did cut out a small rectangular section from the carpeted "floor" that you can pull up and out. needed to clear the connections on the backside.
