I fucking hate the emissions testing place. A year ago someone broke into my truck and they broke the clip where the OBDII port is. Well because the clip is broken my OBDII Has been 'tampered with' and they will not emissions my truck. Glad I waited an hour in line for that. They also said they have to be able to plug the OBDII scanner in with one hand or it will also fail. I asked if I can JB weld it into place, he said 'if we can see the JB weld we will not scan it".

If you make the drive down to Benson. You can register in my county without emissions

This may be happening. I'm going to use JB weld, but I added black dye to it so it's hard to see on the black mounting whatever it sits in. Hopefully the jack ass tech won't notice it and just plug it in and go since it's dark under there.

If not. Then yes, heading somewhere to register my truck that doesn't have emissions since I'll never be able to get the test done.

Just register it for the max amount in my county and not worry bout it for a few years. Let me know if I can help. You can use my address for the next couple weeks if need be.

I wasn't sure if Payson was or wasn't. Issue is we don't technically have a mailbox at our cabin, everything gets mailed to my house. Not sure if that would work but might be worth looking into.

So I'm still screwed. I can't register my truck to Payson because it already is set to get emissions testing on their site. I have to pass that before I can move it to another county. The website won't allow me to do it.

You may have to go into the actual DMV to overide the system.

I called> I have to go in and show them a bill from the new location.

I'm hoping this JB weld does the trick. Once I pass, I'll move it up to my cabin and call it a day.

Why don't you register your vehicles to your cabin. The cost is less and no emissions.

    Edit: just read other posts.
