I'm watching the baby all day tomorrow but depending on the time I might be able to help when the wife is off work.

    Link to build in sig
The new 5D 31in. bars from CR (dual row) have 300w 24k lumens. The 30in bars from Rigid (single row) are 117w 11.5k lumens. If I end up going through 3 bars from CR then I'll consider paying more for a rigid.. But in a stare and compare at the specs and quality of build I just don't see a 3x price difference.

Stuff and things to make glamorous camping faster and more enjoyable.
for the guys looking for lightbars - checkout Tomar Offroad. http://www.tomar.com/off-road/

They're local, quality is on par (in my opinion better than) Rigid, and the pricing is a little below the top top shelf stuff (offering us locals good prices if you talk to our sponsor over there - I mean deeeeeep discount for us).

They don't use mirrors, instead they use lens optics, so the light from the LED actually just goes out the front instead of bouncing around inside first. Our bar is a combo which means it can either be white spots, amber floods, or a combination of the two - all with two brightness settings. Plus there's an SOS pattern for when shit gets really real. Our combo bar uses 5 switches for full functionality.

You're not gonna get Mall Crawler Bro Cred because as a brand they're just getting into the off road scene in the past year or so, but you will get some sturdy fuckin lights that will blind anyone in front of you. They've been doing firetrucks, ambulances and cop cars for like 40 years - they even make 'literally explosion proof' lights for offshore oil rigs, so you know this stuff is tough. For what it's worth, all those Rigid Toyota Tundra pace trucks in the Lucas Oil Offroad series are still running Tomar lights because the Rigids aren't approved for track safety. LoL

Plus they offer a bracket (or will soon, not sure if they've gone into production yet) that mounts a bar over the roof instead of on top of your windshield, which is (sorry everyone) the single worst install location humanly possible for both visibility and noise.

All the ridiculously boring details are in my install and review thread on TT. http://www.tundratalk.net/forums/tu...htbar-review-install-no-wind-noise-glare.html

    and here's a video I made too... https://youtu.be/cHTe3IAJa3w

Disclaimer - yes they are a sponsor of Tundras to Sedona, but I don't get free shit or any kickback from them if you guys buy their stuff. I just really like supporting local - especially when their shit is on point.

Again it's your money my friend, everyone including myself are just expressing stats, info, and what we know about the companies. Like others have said you get what you pay for, example will a ome lift your truck and work good sure, but will icon, or ads do the same, cost more, but be better suspension, yes. It's all on how much you want to spend, and it sounds you want to spend at the cali pricing level.

I used to have a baja designs bar... until it was stolen(with the “anti theft” bolts)

then just bought some knockoff lights and resealed them.. can I tell the difference? sure.. Am I happy I went with cheaper lights the second time around? Sure, just a better piece of mind now that I’ve had something stolen that I won’t be taking such a loss if it happens again :notsure:

Sounds like you should of put a Cali raised sticker on the bajas then they would of been fooled and left it alone.

    Probably!

They clipped the wiring harness with some pliers or dykes and looks like they dremeled the heads off the anti theft bolts...

Probably took a minute or two..:bananadead:

I agree with you and am new to after market lighting upgrades. I would get the 20" Rigid midnight edition or even the 30" but I don't see brackets to put it behind my bumper..I would like to have it hidden.

Amazon has these at killer prices right now..like $200-300 less than Rigid site. $300-500 seems alright if it's actually worth it.
