Fuck the Colorado diesel. That is an eco diesel motor made to get better file mileage, not tow shit haha.

I do aprove of the obs 250's though :)

I think for a trailer that size I would go with a pop up honestly. Easier to store, less hassle towing. Idk. My thought.

Short wheelbase, light, narrow will get bounced around by a feather on a 10' flat bed. I'd say unless you tow a few miles you want something that you don't feel the trailer behind. Gets old fast having to think about the trailer too much

Perhaps the one thing that never gets considered is insurance liability. You're Sequoia is probably capable of towing the trailer just fine. Might be a little slow going at times but I'm sure you'll be good. However, get in a wreck or any kind of accident and if you're over you weight rating your insurance company will give you the finger and you'll be liable for anything deemed your fault.

In for page 1001 (been a consistent lurker since AZ BS 2.0)

Here's my setup. About 3,000 dry and my truck is worked to haul it around loaded up here in the high country.
I've decided to not haul water with me when leaving home with it, just fill it up when close to or at my destination. Helped a bit, but I think I need to adjust the gain on my brake controller (prodigy), or perhaps look into adjusting the brake shoes on the trailer if that doesn't help things. Considering a WDH for the future.

Here it is when I picked it up.
If it was up to me, I would have went with a RTT or a smaller teardrop, but the wife made some good points about having bathroom capabilities for her and my daughter (2 years old) along with the ability to sit the little one down to eat.
Not my first choice for camping, but if it gets our family out, count me in!

Running an auto radiator when I have manual and using the built in transmission cooler as a power steering cooler instead? Awful idea?

That might be a cheap fun outlet to beat up in the rocks and not worry about much.
