Figured as much but most students won't be eligible for these positions. I am mostly applying for status positions (have to previously work for the federal government or be a qualifying veteran). In the positions recent graduates could apply for, veterans preference should put me ahead of any equally qualified candidate(assuming they are not a veteran themselves). That's in a perfect world though.

yeah and everyone will hire a college kid because they will do it for cheaper. Unless its a minimum wage job, then they wont. Every college kid should have to take at least one economics class os they can understand that the only people who benefit from higher minimum wage is the government.
