Lol. Funny you mention that. My Wife has started watching it these last couple weeks. First time either of us have watched it. It's not as bad as I thought it would be.

 

First time for me, too, aside from the odd episode when it originally aired. The side and background jokes are my favorite bits.

That was with some pressure. It actually came out much cleaner than I expected, and completely ok with it. That was tested on a scrap 2x4 I had laying around. The soft Balsawood type wood this little box is made of was definitely more tricky.

Round 2 has begun. Reality is setting in. After disconnecting the winch, front camera, bumper ditch lights, bumper light bar, grill lights, accent lighting, skit plate, and grill cover, I used the engine hoist to support it as I yanked it off.

Now Ive moved onto the hoses and factory wiring. It's a bit overwhelming!

 

Well I did a thing, but dont worry @snowsk8air2 I am nowhere near good enough to build my bumper...

 

And quitting just a few hours later.... Tranny bolts loose, fan and shroud removed, radiator hoses off, exhaust disconnected, and a handful of harnesses/misc bolts removed.

 

Yeah that thing will be fun and handy for little projects here and there. But definitely not a bumper building welder.

 

Anyone have a roofer and painter they recommend? I need to get some things fixed up in order to list my house for sale in the next couple weeks.

 

I kept procrastinating, but I'm scheduled next week to take my Tech ham license test. Pretty stoked. Have the HT pretty much picked out, now to figure what mobile system to run.

 

Sup guys. For those up north in the Flagstaff area. Hows the rental market? Taken a hit lately? Moving there early June for work. Gotta find a place in or near Flagstaff; ~within a hours drive basically.

 

Tons of rentals up here as it’s a college town. But, most are apartments or similar. Not sure what you’re looking for, but June should have lots available since all the college kids are gone.

 

I need a house, moving the family over in June. I have a few that I need to call about. Just looking for some local input. Oh, I dont need to be close to NAU. Probably further away would be good. My kids are still young.
