My son travels at least once a month from Phx to Tucson. On many occasions he sees 1st gens being towed south towards Tucson, They look like parts vehicles. Does anyone know where they might be headed? Is someone hoarding?

Yeah they get pulled over the boarder hauling crap. Mainly I think they are just used as trailers it always looked like. No Idea where they are headed tho.

The Mexican guys buy trucks and parts at wrecking yards, auctions, ect cheap and tow them back to mexico sometimes for parts, sometimes to rebuild into a working truck.

Been watching them do that for 30 + yrs, i've talked to some of them about bringing a double cab 79-83 cab up for me. So far no takers.

Fuck, I was trying to get the camper off the truck and in the garage a week ago. Then I went to Vegas last weekend (whoops ) and now I have a friends birthday party in Phoenix this coming weekend. On top of that Im insanely busy with work and only going to get busier through the end of the year. Long story short I might try to get the camper off the truck and into the garage Thursday because I dont have any work cases. If that doesnt happen maybe next Monday-Tuesday? I dont even know anymore. Half the time I dont know what Im doing that day until I wake up.

Did all the Flagstaff kids survive?

saw a news report yesterday and if they are to be believed you are all on an Arc now.

hope everything is okay up there.

promise me if your house floats away and the news asks you some silly question about how you FEEL….you will look into the camera and say “yeah lost the house, but we could use the rain”
