As my bumper is sitting in my garage. I've contemplated just taking it to the dump.

    Cody,
Which model Fumoto valve did you go with?

I wasn't too sure about putting one on when considering clearance issues, but after looking at where the drain plug is in relation to the cross-member (which would protect it), this looks like something that'd be awesome to have.

I hate how the oil splashes when it hits my drain pan, so I would likely get the F103N, F103S or F103SX

    I have run the https://www.amazon.com/Fumoto-F-103N-Engine-Drain-Valve/dp/B003UT822G
which has worked awesome for the last 40k miles. protected by my protective plates. and no splash.. works great for collecting my blackstone oil analysis containers.

I have even got Camelback Toyota to do oil changes with my synthetic oil and the Fumoto valve with no problem. Just ask for Mike in Service he knows my truck

Wow I had no idea those ever existed. Game changer. Although not sure what I need for a 3rd gen. Heard oil changes are a pain in the ass

Use a different oil catch. No splashes here :notsure:

I thought about adding a valve but it works great as is. Didn't want to add a component that could potentially fail on such an important piece

Dude commenting in my build thread went WAY too far on the way out to the Grand Canyon camp spot that I gave directions to.

    I've definitely considered that too.
What kind of oil catch do you use?
