Id take a Toytec or OME lift over Icon any day personally.

Edit: PM someone like Jason @05TacoRunner who rebuilds all shocks. He will tell you Fox or King over Icon anyday...

It's odd because I failed to mention I'm running a jeep. Just wanted overall opinion on the company and build quality.

Its in your profile clear as day.

    You went chris4x2 on us

Edit: I said to message Jason. He will tell you first hand about the internals of Icon vs King or Fox. Sure for a basic trail rig that sees more pavement, it will be a good setup. Definitely better over stock.

The jeep will be a trailer queen. Just picked up a new full size ford for the daily driving. Is king far superior? The original lift I was looking at uses King shocks and spring.

King or Fox, its all in the valving IMHO. I dont know what is the shit in the Heep world. Im happy with my Kings but does that mean it will work for you?

Jeeps have long arm kits, LCG lifts and much more to think about. If this is a dedicated trail rig on a huge budget, you need to talk to the Jeep clubs and see whats the right way to go vs a waste of cash IMO.

@JeepAndrew also may have some advice and @chris4x4 may have modded his by now and know a few things.

It is. And then think that new drive shaft brake lines exhaust rerout steering stabilizer wheels and tires regear. It sometimes hurts my head to think about how much I want/don't want to spend.

For that whole kit plus the shocks that is a good deal. Most of what I have seen from others for a long arm plus the coilovers is a bit more.

I actually don't want their long arm. I want to get my long arms from rock Krawler. They are angled for more clearance

I picked up the sand rail yesterday. Hot the cage extended up, and the motor gone through. I had tabs welded on it for a tow bar... it tows like nothing is there!!! Now I need to do some painting and rewire the entire thing! ARRRGGHHHHHH!

It will have to wait as the truck and RTT Trailer are packed (except our suitcases), and we are heading out in the AM on the bucket list trip. It's been a long time coming and it's changed quite a few times. We are no longer doing all backroads as it'd be a bit too rough for her, so we're just heading out and "winging it"!!!!
