We probably use ours 3-4 days a week so we aren't heating up the house too much especially in the summer. Ours is a Spirit 210. Cooks nice and even and for just me and the wife, we didn't really need a larger grill. We don't entertain a whole lot so the times that a larger grill would be useful are fairly limited.

This ones worked well for the last 4 years, i like the modular centers that lets you do a couple different things with it. Often on sale at target and or clearance as we come to the end of the season for them.

Mrs. Chipskip did it to me again tonight. Early talk was of Fajitas.... when dinner time came around, she decided to do it again. She made Chicken creamy parmesan with sun dried tomatoes... It was amazing... but it wasn't fajitas.

MT stuff, RTT stuff, the usual.
I went with the gas grill in the island, and a Traeger pro 34, that way I can move the smoker around or take it somewhere with us. No complaints.

    Green Mountain Grill smoker FTMFW!!!!!!!

Chicken with Creamy Parmesan & Sundried Tomato Sauce

    Makes 4 servings Ingredients:

    • 1 Tablespoon oil

    • 4 skinless, boneless, chicken breasts (pounded thin)

    • 2 cloves garlic, minced

    • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

    • 1/4 cup dry white wine (or chicken broth)

    • 3/4 cup chicken broth

    • 1/2 cup heavy/whipping cream

    • 1/4 cup oil packed sundried tomatoes, chopped

    • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    • Salt and pepper, to taste

    • 1/4 cup fresh basil, sliced thin (or 1 teaspoon dried basil)
    Directions:

    1. Heat the oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until lightly golden brown on both sides and cooked through (about 5 minutes per side). Set aside

    1. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes and sauté until fragrant; about a minute.

    2. Add the wine and deglaze the pan.

    3. Add the broth, cream, sundried tomatoes and parmesan and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat and simmer until the sauce thickens a bit; about 3-5

      minutes.

    4. Mix in the chicken along with any juices. Season with salt and pepper, to

taste. Remove from heat and mix in the basil.
MOM Tip: This is a delicious family sized meal that would also make excellent leftovers for lunches. Serve with steamed veggies.

I have a Costco kirkland stainles 4 burnner ceramic searing burnner rotisserie burnner and a side burnner that I have been using for 10 years . Best $700 I have ever spent . Plenty of prep space and two drawers for BBQ shit. If it ever brakes it's going back but s doubt it.

There are tons of options for grills. The HomeDepot grill is decent, then the Weber is a major step up and sometimes has good deals. You can easily spend $$$ on a grill. I recommend starting with something basic, then in a few years when you know how you use it and what it's short comings are, upgrade to a grill that will do everything you want plus some.

Now if you can work out a deal with @llibrm 's brother, he is a cool cat, than that would be a great starter and will last you for years.

Good info. Father’s Day is approaching and my old man needs a new grill. Want to snag him one that will last him another 10yrs like his current one did. @Daria send me cliff notes for whatever I’ve missed since I’ve been off the grid since Thursday
