I dig it. Had manufacturer plates. Really like the built in bed cleats and headache rack. Cool little truck.

I was just recently reading an article about a US company who is trying to work with toyota and the US department of transportation to bring land cruisers over, new and old, and bring them to US spec emissions/ smog testing standards for resale. It sounded very promising. I'll post the link if i can find it again.

You should hear some of the shit people talk on my truck. And not AZTW ribbing, genuine butthurt.

Most of it revolves around the motor but the fact that I dare apply TRD takeoffs to my SR utility package without “paying my dues for the badge” also has been brought up. :jerkoff:

It’s a very small minority though, your average joe more often than not will actually go out of their way to come compliment my truck.:D

I think your truck is perfect, and the grille you have is better than what it came with. I would buy your truck but with 4x4 if I had to go buy a new truck right this minute.

They like to compliment a rather stock looking truck with some blue stickers applied to it?

Avid now has an ECGS account! Looking at ordering some 4:56s for my truck and having the shop that did Josh's gears do mine.

I need to check it, but I drove from. Tucson to the far side of Dallas without any issues (other than no AC). Hopefully my luck holds up.
