Nah they're ugly. It's not that big of an annoyance until I'm hitting 80 then just turn the radio up a bit. Figured I'd take a shot at fixing it cause warranty.

does it make a Kazoo sound? mine did that for a bit, there are updated window seals which will take care of it. I had mine fixed at big two toyota. let me see if i can find the thread. Basically the new seal is much thicker

Edit: I think it is this thread https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...-noise-tsb-update.530653/page-5#post-17735586

you can also fix it with some plastic tubing like the post I linked.

Not a kazoo just more than expected wind noise coming into the cab, worse if windy out most noticeable at freeway speed. No leaks or anything either

I kind of have this, but it's never really been all that bothersome.

Although the other day I was in a dust storm and a strong gust made one of my window seals fart loudly.:rofl:
To be fair, it was a strong enough gust that I had to apply a noticeable steering correction.

I didn't have the kazoo sound until I was in a strong windstorm up north, but I would get road noise beforehand. After I took it in, it completely went away. I also noticed that for about a week after they put in the new seals the doors were noticeably more difficult to close so you could tell the seals were more robust

Wife's open enrollment for healthcare coming up now we get to decide if we get raped monthly or brutally gang raped sporadically.

I’d say monthly so you can build a tolerance for the pain. Last thing you want is to get an unexpected break, heal up some, and then they send in big daddy when you least expect it.

    Ha!
Wife and I are total opposites. I don't use it unless it's an injury like my ankle so the surprise gang rape is cheaper in the long haul. My wife has continual thyroid treatment and goes through 4-6 EPI pens a year cause her peanut allergy so she'd benefit from the once a month pounding.

Between the two of us over 6k in paid medical bills last year not including premiums

Same boat as me. I was forced by the fiancé to get a check up after we were engaged (wanted to make sure I’d be around for a while) and went one other time last year because my neck swelled up when I caught a nasty cold. Before that I hadn’t been to the doc in years unless I was injured. But then she has several health things going on where she has to go in a few of times a year. Not married yet, so she has the best plan that suits her and I make so little while still in school that I qualify for accchs or whatever it’s called. Student loans almost unqualified me for renewal last month so who knows how long I’ll be able to keep it. For sure won’t after the wedding next year.

So can you fix it? Or do we need to speak to your manager?

My suggestion is don't go to the Dr. :p

If you do, make sure they are in network. If they send out lab work, that the lab is in network. The radiologist is in network, anesthesiologist is in network, the durable medical equipment provider is..... in network. And for most things double check and see if a pre-auth or predetermination is required. And if the procedure/test is even covered to begin with. Ask for the CPT and diagnoses code and check with your health plan to see if it is covered and if it needs a pre-auth/determination.

Out of network and balance billing can get expensive, fast... And if you have met your deductible for the year, and especially your out of pocket max, do all the medical shit you need that year before the accumulators reset on January 1st. And if you are planning on having a kid, conceive it in Jan or Feb. That way the costs will fall under 1 year, and the birth itself isn't hella expensive after your deductible resets. And btw, once the child is born, the claims go towards their own deductible etc and not moms.

I got a guy, if you need a guy. @llibrm actually suggested his guy and now he is my guy, he is also my parents' guy now too. If it is simple he will tell you how to do it yourself and save yourself some time and money. If it is complicated, he is all over it. Couple of years ago I got a few letters from the IRS saying I had screwed up, sent them to my guy and he was "Nah bro, this is them. No worries, I got this!"

I like that if we have a change in anything tax related, anytime during the year, we call him up and he helps us make any changes we need to. Adjust withholdings.... run out and donate something. All the things we can to stay in our target tax zone. Every year we get a packet in the mail with our appointment time and what we need to bring. Show up, he does them, show what last year was compared to this year, and what out projection for next year is. Then we can make changes if needed.

    If interested... PM me.

He also does with financial planning and investments.
