    Hi there AZ folks

I Will be in Phoenix / Mesa area and I’m looking for a shop to wire up some ditch lights for me? Any recommendations?

(Connecting baja design pods to an oem style switch. I called SDHQ but they said they dont work on any “ customer provided product”)

Never got around to setting them up and it would be nice to have while I’m out in the southwest rambling around

    Thanks !

MT stuff, RTT stuff, the usual.
Got a safe for $free.99, but had a 15 minute time delay on opening it. Called the place up and learned how to disable it. Epic score.

Wow that's some shit...never met a shop that wouldn't take provided parts. I already don't care for SDHQ, but that's just another reason. If I wasn't doing stuff this weekend, I would offer to just help you install them as I got a few BD lights myself. Good luck!

Most shops will not install customer provided parts for liability purposes. I’m sure you can offer someone local a six pack of beer and a pizza and they’ll hook it up.

Hey folks - I'm visiting Sedona and Williams next month, anyone have any must see/do recommendations in those areas? We have stuff planned already but figured I'd check with the locals.

I'll be renting a truck (Tacoma if they have one :)) for the week so if there is any easy unpaved exploring I could do that would be cool too but obviously not trying to incur extra damage charges lol.

Lol that would be great! End of April for 7 days (Saturday-Saturday), splitting time between the two places. Going to Sedona first - less planned there mostly want to do lots of hiking and outdoor stuff. Then driving up to Williams to stay a couple days and we're gonna do the train ride to the Grand Canyon.

In Sedona there is tons of hiking and a few mild 4x4 trails depending on what vehicle you get. By then the forest will be open and you can take a drive to edge of the world, just south of flagstaff and overlooks Sedona. In Williams you have bearizona and you’re hitting the Grand Canyon which would be the two big things to do. Other than that, I’d suggest grabbing a trail book and use that to decide what sorts of hiking, mtn biking, or off roading you want to do

Does anyone remember if you need a press to get out and install LCA bushings in a set of factory arms? It's been a very very long time since I've messed with a set of stock ones.

I'm weighing my options on just maintain the factory ones and also replace the ball joint or fork over the cash and get a set of TC LCAs

I would either do the TC if you want to upgrade, or just buy a new set of OE lowers or find some used in good condition. Messing with the stock bushings isnt fun.

Thanks Kyle! That's what I thought. I was looking for a set of of used ones but after seeing Jake's, Paul Murphy and a few others fail at the joint I'm unsure. I'll have to price out a set of OE ones and see what the difference is.

Doing a solid maint. on the FJ to be ready for camping / climbing season

On another note. If anyone is looking to buy an ARB fridge you can use a 20% coupon at REI on one. My dad just picked one up that way with his dividend. I think they also might have the Dometic ones that a lot of people are using now also.

I'd just replace with new OEM ones. new BJ's AND bushings, and its a hell of a lot easier. cant remember where I ordered mine from when I replaced them.

If you can remember where you got yours that would be a ton of help. I looked on Rock Auto and Summit and can't find a place that sells them. They are the same ones as the newer 4Runners but I can only find the style for KDSS lowers.

Check camelback Toyota parts. Order online and pick up in store. Their online prices are good but you have to order online.
