what about going into HVAC with the ultimate goal to start your own HVAC business? Learn the business, then get some people under you to do the actual work.

You have the opportunity most people dream about, basically no real need to work, yet you're talking about just getting some boring ass job. Do something you love to do, do something you're passionate about, start a company, build something. Youre limiting yourself and you shouldnt be.

That’s actually something that crossed my mind today. Since I know a little bit about starting a business from school & the woman knows even more, it could work.

Yea I also like cleaning carpets. No bs lol the in law said why don’t I start a carpet cleaning business & he’ll fund it. But I’m just not sure on it since carpet is dying out nowadays. Or atleast it should be.
Thx for the words man. There’s a few pros & cons to being tied into a rich fam, it’s way more difficult than it sounds. I’m just grateful to have been part of it since before the money came & affected some fam. (A lot of drama over money nowadays)

 

I don't mind working for 30 years and beating the shit out of my body. By then climate change will have fucked up the planet so bad, it wouldn't be worth retiring anyway. But I would like to work between now and then, so the trades are my best bet for job security.

 

Something I've been looking at is electronics, repairing robotic equipment etc.

 

Thats crap, you're just making excuses. Also it's not true, there will always be carpet and not just in residential applications. Start the company. What do you have to lose besides someone else's money?

Idk what the English word for it is but he hates losing money, giving money, etc. The woman & her brother don’t live as lavish as you’d think because the dads cheap with them. Financial people tell him not to spend, his mom tells him not to spend(that’s a drama of its own). So he doesn’t share it anymore

I’ve been looking into computer stuff. It’s the one thing I was good at during school. But that’s not what I majored in, & I’m convinced I’m 10% retarded. Lol

The cars & stuff is one thing, that’s shit the dad likes which is why he’s cool with that, example: she wants a second car but he just wants her to get rid of the v instead. It all gets more personal than just material things tho. Shits actually crazy behind the scenes lol
