I can only imagine...as a kid I got my tonsils and abnoids removed at the same time when I just turned 4. I think that's my first memory that I can recollect now a days, I bet as an adult how much more painful that must be.

My mom used to work in a hotel, and she told me that meat tenderizer works good. Thats what they used on the linens when they had blood. I personally have never tried it.

Oxyclean and hydrogen peroxide and patience. It worked well when my dog sliced her paw open and decided to do laps around the living room.

Yeah I just hit it with hydrogen peroxide and that seemed to work. Thankfully it was just a spatter spray and most of it went into the bowls and pot.

Apparently this is normal ER doc said usually a week to 10 days post OP there's a bleed. No other issues present bloodwork good, lungs were clear and nothing on chest xray. Hindsight is always 20/20 once she spat out the clot it stopped and that was in the ambulance on the way to the ER about 15-20 min after it started. But man there was a lot of blood fast and didn't seem to slow down until rescue arrived on scene.

Got the pup and truck washed before it got too hot today. Helped a neighbor tune a CB on his old XJ. I should mention that I offer free CB tunes and installs to anybody on here, if you don’t mind driving out to the west valley.

Trade you for that killer hardtail ;)
Although I’m guessing you’d have a bit of a color mismatch.

    Workin' on it....
So every once in a while I get this idea to go test drive T4R’s......

Well, spent some time at Right Toyota today and as it happens they were having an Arizona Tundras event there.

Ended up running into @Plastics Guy and picking up some extended Durobumps for the TC LCA’s that are coming.

    Dog approved....

Sweating my butt off installing an intercooler and some new headlights on the Civic...

Headlights go in no fuss, Intercooler requires a little creative trimming, I button everything up and they're great. Check the lights for hyperflash, good to go, okay now I'll give it a test drive as I swing past the Vatozone and nab some washer fluid.

As soon as the alternator kicks on the turn signals hyperflash.:frusty::annoyed:

I spent all this time testing and re-testing at the natural battery voltage with the car in ACC mode.:anonymous:

    Bring it!

My AC likes to blow warm when it's 115 and I get on it but it's not all the time. Odd.

Tacoma AC has spoiled me like a little brat. The civics do have weak ass AC but I think a lot of it has to do with 2 things, not a lot of air flow over the condenser, and a very conservative compressor clutch that likes to kick off at even the slightest hint of load, or the evaporator getting cool-ish.

This is normal, the computer shuts down the AC at WOT.

This was a feature on my Subaru also, it was kinda funny to find out actually what was happening.

Basically at a certain throttle position (voltage) the ECU will shut off the AC compressor to deliver more power to the wheels. Then when the throttle is lifted the ECU turns the AC compressor back on. The fan continues to blow at whatever speed it was set on.

It drove great...a few more bells and whistles than my Taco (heated seats, leather interior, crawl control, sunroof), and a TON of lockable, air conditioned room for me and/or the dog (possibly the wife too... lol) between having the rear hatch and if needed the rear seating area when folded down....

.....On the other hand I’m like 6 months from the paid off mod on the Taco and it’s already been built up pretty decently...the thought of having car payments for a few more years again and having to start building the T4R from scratch is the big con.
