And that's exactly what we're going to do...

Those previous discussions are exactly that...previous. They haven't happened with us specifically. Both camps need to have some flexibility in their positions and attitudes for any progress to be achieved. I get that this isn't a democracy, however there is no doubt that we can reach some semblance of understanding and compromise for the betterment of us all.

We're prepared to be part of the solution, and we are simply asking that collectively y'all are as well...

So let’s work towards some understand and go from there.

This back and forth is like using a rocking chair. Something to do, but gets us nowhere.

    Thanks everyone.

    ...too much shit to list.
I assure you, I would love nothing more than the thread, and the site, to run on it's own. I don't want to see reports, none of us do. But we do have to handle them. And Alan, come on. You literally just said fuck TW last night. We've been incessant targets for insult after insult, passive aggressive and aggressive posts, endless name calling, and yet if we make a smart ass comment back then we're inconsistent or power hungry or whatever the flavor of the day is. We do this as volunteers, and the BS we have historically had to put up with gets old. By all means, I'd love to see this end up with different results this time and absolutely encouraging what @ColoradoTJ already asked.

I get it, and appreciate what y'all do...really. I'm sure this is just a flash in the pan compared to the metric shit ton y'all deal with on the daily.

And you're right. As I mentioned before, I was pretty twisted about it before and vented. I can't un-ring that bell, but I can move differently going forward. I'm man enough to admit it. No doubt you've done the same at some point in your life...then you come down off of it and think it through with a cooler head, which is where we are now. I literally have zero interest in fighting wars anymore...been there, done that, too old for that shit.

I'm glad you're open and that we're having this discussion...look forward to continuing it further once we get the crew together...thanks, man.

Like everything, a timeline is needed.

Let's have everything put together by 0800 on Friday the 22nd in a Chat with the Staff post. I will invite some of the others you suggest.

    Sound fair and achievable goal?

    Thank you AZ.

Being considerate of everyone's work and family schedules, can we do by 1800 on the 24th instead? Although I think we have it mostly compiled, I want to make sure we don't leave anyone out who would like to contribute.

    Thanks!

here is my $.02..... I join forums to gain knowledge of my vehicle. Yesterday I searched then posted looking for tork specs for my front end rebuild. I did not get accurate or complete information. One response was to use a long and a short wrench. I called the dealer to get the info. If you want the social media aspect, go "F" yourself. (Facebook). This forum should be vehicle information only. I am moving on, please delete my membership.

You posted in the 1st gen lunchtable thread. Probably a better outcome would be in technical or 1st gen general.

    Not a taunt. It’s factual.
