I think I’m gonna keep the tent mounted “backwards” like this. I really think it looks better this directions. But maybe it’s just me.

seeing as you are a hose jockey, everyone expects you to do things backwards.

that said, I think it looks good. I also would prefer the driver side access.
I know they try for aerodynamics with the lid, but I doubt there will be any less or more mpgs either way. Maybe a few more bugs killed, but that’s just a public service.

    Haha very true

And I’m coming from a Four Wheel camper so aerodynamics and mpg are already a huge improvement!

The bump mount to the plate with the allen head through the top and a lock nut on bottom. I have standard one so not sure how they mount axle plate with that setup. Flip kit I'm guessing.

Yeah I think I have it figured out now. I was mentally exhausted by the time I got to them and just wanted to get to bed. The airbags I had to remove where a huge pain in the ass

For now, I cut the exposed threads from the bolt, but may need new bumpstops.

I'll be in Utah for a week long trip soon, so I'll keep an eye on it and course correct as needed...

I had the BD S2 Sports with a wide cornering pattern, and swapped the lenses for a combo pattern. While it was better, it still wasn't enough for my needs. Replaced them with Squadron Sports with a combo pattern...much, much better. As you know, I also have amber Squadron fogs. Swapped the S2 lenses with amber and repurposed as chase lights.

I agree, I think it looks better backwards. Although as already mentioned i'm sure aero was taken into consideration when designing, but due to your rack height I bet the difference is negligible.

Let's be honest... you really only care about your own rig.
I like it that way, too. Honestly, that longer taper to the rear when it's closed up should be more aerodynamic, too. Like an airplane wing - tapered to the rear. I think it looks good.

Anyone know a way to get ahold of Department of Unemployment? I started weekly apps almost 8 weeks ago and it still says active issues after I've faxed everything in. Call ques are always full when i try to call and ask, in person services are unavailable too.

    None yet...
    Good Morning TW,

I just moved my family down from Seattle just over a month ago. I am new to the area (bought in Maricopa). On the way down I noticed my front end get louder. Are there any shops down here that replace wheel bearings that y'all would recommend?

    Thank you for your suggestions.

    Mike

From what I've read, you just have to keep calling until you can get in. I had issues as well, I ended up resubmitting the claim and it worked. The whole thing is fucked and they're swamped.
