New windows will help out so much. We did all new through RMK windows and what a difference. I guess it depends on how old your house is I suppose, ours was built in 99 so it was beyond time to get rid of the old, super cheap builder grade windows they put in all these homes

Edit: I know you didn't ask about windows but I thought I would share.

In florida it was highly advised not to do spray foam. Because it can hold moisture which leads to rot and hid termites from being found.
Now in Arizona dont have as much rain and humidity. Not sure of the termite issue.
But, I'd call around talk to different companies that do insulation and also talk to some good pest control companies if they have seen any issues with different insulation.

For real... Tried to swerve as much as I could.. but there was another car next to me.. she side swiped me pretty much. Busted the rim and blew out the spindle.. even with gussets. Tire rubbed the upper pretty good too . Hoping it's just a wheel and be spindle.. probably do a new wheel bearing too.

Already did. It's dropped off at my auto shop. Looking like just the spindle (and gusset)

Unfortunately this ain't my first rodeo with this. A year or so ago the same exact corner took a similar impact.

I'm pretty sure most of that blow in insulation has some kind of insecticide in it.

My house was built in 2018 and had it done by default everywhere but the garage. You can tell a difference between the two but to be fair the garage also doesn't have the exterior walls done either. :notsure:
I had been thinking of getting blow in insulation done in the garage to make life out there more comfy. Probably a big ass fan would serve me better coolness wise these days since staying out there for extended sessions just ain't in the cards no more.:(

Speaking of which is there anyone who can recommend a bathroom/shower place that was like, above and beyond awesome? I think I may have to ditch my garage rework short term to get a better shower put in since my first night back from the hospital I tripped and cracked the stupid fiberglass vestibule tub...thing.

It's such a :censored: stupid setup, there's a step up onto a vestibule area that serves no other purpose than to get wet and slippery because the shower head overshoots the drain and fires into the vestibule, then a step down into the actual shower pan that is surrounded by the wobbliest 3/4-wall glass known to man.
I wanna transform it into one of those showers that you want to shower in, like with a straight-down firing head, designed such that the whole damn thing doesn't end up wet afterwards, with some cedar accents and a towel warmer and shit. :muscleflexing: hahahaha

Straight down shower heads are THE WORST! You cant comfortably stand in the warm water and relax. You're either bending your neck uncomfortably or drowning in the water, dont do it. Get a super high flow shower head thats at a really good height, 6'6" minimum. Put the controls on the opposite side of the shower from the head so you can turn it on and let it warm up without getting blasted by cold water. If you have enough room the real power move is no glass at all, half wall or full height wall walk in, curbless, tile all around. Do small mosaic or penny tiles on the floor so there is enough grout that you get good traction even when wet.

My house in Florida was the same. I was able to get bags of insulation that was like little square cuts of stuff. Can’t remember exactly the material. Think I got it from Lowe’s. Didn’t get enough bags though. Only had like a inch up there. My biggest improvement was putting that hard insulation board in the doors. Since my door faced the sun most of the day.
But Florida heat is Florida heat. 90* with 90% humidity. So was still hot.

Yeah I was hoping to check it out too. Maybe eyeball that tube addition for your bedrack we were talking about. Definitely a bummer.
