    Thank You!
Wish they were swappable side to side. Looking at em. Doesn't look it though. I'll pull it tomorrow and inspect the sensor at least.

It was one of them spots in the trail. Back it up bump it to get over X boulder but try to stop before hitting the next boulder. Well, I cleared both in one bump. Surprised I didn't set off the airbags. Was a good one.
Has VSC been critical? Nah. But, sometime the "auto" lsd can make 4high easier in some sand or soft stuff.

luckily the SRS system is smarter these days. its rare for them to go off at low speeds unless a roll.

as for checking the sensor you may not find anything. best thing to do is pull the CV axle out of the hum and look at the backside of the bearing for cracks or the such on the tone ring (it will be flat darker grey if i remember right.. but should be mostly smooth) from the impact, the sensor itself likely didnt sustain any damage

worst comes to worst i know Todd has techstream. that would be beneficial to get the raw data while driving.

Sure thing! Just remind me again before we leave for the trip. Just a small laptop and USB cable, so it doesn't take up any room.

If you want to do it sooner, I have no objections to driving up to Flagstaff to help you out with this. I'm free the weekend after this one, May21 thru 23. It my long weekend too.

Hell that’d work. I’ll be here. Plus the forest is open. So can also go play in the dirt.

It is a belt drive. I should have some grease around the garage; if not I'll go pick some up sometime. Thanks for the help.

I swear I read about this here but I can't seem to google it up for the life of me. You know the old school USMC Jerry cans with the screw on spout/lid, right? I could have sworn that some local outfit was making fancy spouts for them that would screw in and basically be bombproof, easy to detach and fill, has a valve that seals well so no shoving a stopper down the spout, etc etc... am I just hallucinating that or what?

Also thinking about getting some kind of mini tool shed/storage for outside, as it became rapidly apparent upon running the vacuum today that my used oil canisters attract bugs like all hell. Crickets, spiders, flies, little beetles... I guess used oil smells like rot to them or something? I mean it is dead dinosaurs after all.

Years back, there was a member who was hiking the AZ Trail in segments. I thought there was a thread about it, but couldn’t find it. Anyone know who it was?
