These Wilwoods save 11+lbs per corner over OEM. My new wheels are a slight weight savings over my old ones.. and my 35s are only a 8lbs increase over the 33s. The new rear wheel/tire combo will be 8lbs heavier per corner overall from my old setup.. and the the fronts will actually be 3lbs lighter per corner overall with the Wilwood/Wheel/Tire setup.

Took some inspiration from @singletrack_ftw bumper on this build for @Sixthelement Using the @WarFab Armor plates as a starting point. This is about as high and tight of a bumper as you can get while maintaining a hitch. About 75lbs all said and done which saved about 60lbs from his old C4 fab bumper.

And took a few “before” flex pictures for comparison after we finish up the archive shock relocation next month when his shocks arrive

I said I wouldn’t post that last one because it’s embarrassing but oh well. That’s about as high as it would go on the tree before the rear got light and started sliding/ front hopping. We’ll give home the benefit of the doubt that crawling is hard in a manual. But my truck on the same log for comparison just because I like this pic haha

I’ll have to get an updated one of mine after I get my 4wd working again because this is still with the old rear end and rear suspension

Thanks. It’s a great starting point for sure. We’ll get to the front eventually after he grabs a few other front end parts and after I finish up a few other projects

    The tree pic?
Haha. Yea the rear just wanted to dig and scoot.
Like said good before shots to see the difference once the rear is completed

It’s literally as tight as it can go with cutting into the actual bed cross members.
Now we need to go hit the rocks n stuff.

@snowsk8air2 it looks absolutely killer and hardly anyone is building bumper as high and tight as this these days. Excellent work, I think it would look even better in Black but the truck owner def has some cool and unique colors going on with his build.:thumbsup::thumbsup: Props to you guys for making this happen. Gonna be killer on the trials.

The grey was a on the whim, hey lets try this see how it goes. I think once the fronts done it'll match up better. Did think about safety hot pink too... . . .

Those wheels too… man that’s gonna be one sweet setup. The best part about it is unsprung weight makes an even bigger difference as far as how the truck feels, because each pound shaved off gets multiplied as you go over bumps and stuff, the force into the suspension gets lowered.

That is just incredible, what is the ballpark cost for a brake upgrade like that in the front?

It's a welcomed side affect, that's for sure. CV's and Rack will be grateful for anything savings they can get. lol

Thanks man! been a slow process.. but getting it dialed how I want it. Picked up the kit from an online retailer for about $1600.

Camped Saturday night north of Humphreys off of Schultz Pass. It was hot AF. Didnt sleep much. Saw a "Giant Root-boring Longhorn Beetle" which was rad. Woke up in the morning to a fuckload of bees everywhere. Fridge nearly killed my battery. Cant wait to get my dual battery setup installed this week.

What are doing for the dual battery? It's on my list of asap to-do's. Trying to get it done before the camper install.

I went with the Genesis Offroad kit for a few reasons. 1. I have my onboard air compressor mounted where the 2nd battery typically goes in other kits like the Off Grid or SDHQ. 2. I like that everything is compact, the functionality of the smart isolator and jump-start switch and the kit is completely wired and ready to bolt/plug in. 3. I like the ability to add a plug-in readout inside the truck to monitor everything in the future if necessary/desired. It takes two group 34 battery, I havent chosen batteries yet though if you have any suggestions.

I've been completely happy with my single battery setup. I feel like dual is a total waste and I run a fridge full time all summer long and have had zero issues.

Good to know. I have been sold on the Off Grid kit. I want it on the opposite side too.. but a couple of the features of the Genesis Kit has kept me from pulling the trigger. I'll probably end up going with the Off Grid kit honestly.
