Easiest place to start is get down there and throw a wrench on every nut and bolt you see.

this. It's usually just a loose Cam bolt or something. tighten the lowers some.. go for a drive.. and see if it persists.

Anyone have experience with batteries plus warranties, wondering if in the red and close to dead is good enough for a replacement, or if it has to be dead as a door nail for them to exchange it.

Just trying to get ahead of it before I end up out somewhere when it finally dies. X2 power, 5 year free replacement, just passed 4 years on it.

I just put a stock battery in the classifieds. You can have it to keep in the truck, run your X2 dead, throw the stock one in and drive to batteries plus to get a new X2 hahaha.

Surprisingly they were still open a bit ago and was able to just call and ask. Sounds like as long as it doesn’t meet there minimum crank rating they will just replace it. Online reviews has some people segueing different that some locations try to get out of it saying different reasonings like to low of voltage saying that was abuse to it etc. I stopped by checkers on my way to the grocery store right now they couldn’t tell me any other info other then yah it’s bad lol. So I guess I’ll just run to batteries plus tomorrow as I’ll need one either way, warranty or not at that point.

Well that was easy enough, they took the old x2power and I guess due to shortages right now exchanged it for a new odyssey battery, hopefully I get another 4 years or so out of this one. 0FD5717C-E894-4F7B-A560-9D2D2D0E9100.jpg

Good morning AZ boys & girls,
Reaching out for some advice/experience. I recently installed new King OEM Ext coilovers. After some research I adjusted the preload 12 turns before installing. I am not crazy about the results. I am gonna give it 2 weeks and let the suspension break in a bit before making changes.

What have y’all found is the sweet spot for pre load on coil overs? Right amount of preload to get desired lift but not so much it creates a harsh ride. Thanks in advance!

Every application is going to be different. Get used to making adjustments.. adjust. Drive. Check. Adjust. Drive. check. Etc. I got fast enough to come home and adjust them on my lunch and then go back to work for a test. Then come home afterwards and adjust again.

You want the lightest spring that can provide you you’re desired ride height. Just don’t add too much preload that you get coil bind. I like to shoot for 60/40 up/down travel for ride height for performance reasons

I'm about to swap back to my 650 coils from my 700s.. after I switched to the Dirt King Lowers.. it's like now that everything is more solid at the pivots.. the C/O's are working more efficiently. That's the only thing I can think of. Before.. the truck rode decent with the 700s.. I think I was getting play in the factory LCA rubber bushings enough to simulate a softer ride. As soon as I swapped to the DKs.. I can feel the 700s. Luckily I kept my 650s.

Yeah give it a go. If you’re happy with the 650’s I think @Atl-atl might be wanting some 700’s. And I can play Tw express for them in a few weeks whenever I take my front diff down for the regear and locker

hmmm I will definitely take your advice. Prefer performance over ride height. thanks

Heya! I live in SW colorado and am attempting to purchase a dog kennel off someone in the Flagstaff zone. Anyone coming up this way by chance? Maybe coming to drive Black Bear Pass or something? Please let me know if so!

Actually yes. Im in Flagstaff and will be coming up to camp outside of Dolores this weekend. I dont have a ton of room in the back of my truck because of my own dog crate and fridge etc. but I can potentially help depending on the situation.
