My fan blower was only working on high on my 2014. Common problem, I've been putting it off because it's so damn hot that I only want the AC on full blast. Last camping trip I drove up at night and it reminded me I need to fix that. I bought the "upgraded" new connector and resistor off Amazon. OEM Toyota parts (allegedly). Now the first and third speed are the same. It comes on low, then the second speed is faster, then the third setting goes back down and fourth is full blast. WTF. Anyone have any ideas? I searched but came up empty.

I was all over the east valley today, pretty spotty mostly, but around 1pm Queen Creek got slapped hard with rain and wind for about 15 minutes and then just like that it was blue skies again.

Need a camping spot recommendation. Must have pine or pinion trees and no where near anyone else. Any ideas?

How much of a drive are you wanting to make? A drive up 89 to Prescott NF would be relatively close (~90mi).

What day of the week? How far are you willing to drive? Are you ok with cold temps? Lows are in the 30s by the big mountains in Flagstaff now and will be below freezing very soon.

dumb question, probably... but forgive me, first time house owner and all that.:anonymous:

There was a big ass weed that had cropped up after the monsoons that I finally got around to yanking. Turns out it had grown up inside the... flashing? (I think that's what it's called)

Anyways, weed go up inside wall & door frame.

I got it back out of there, but do I hammer the flashing down to be super tight against the foundation, or what am I supposed to do there? Won't bugs just crawl up in there if there's a gap? And is there supposed to be basically nothing around an exterior garage door frame?

Yeah it is iron. Might be quite a trek for a 42 dollar disk though. May be more economical for me to order it. It's all good. I really appreciate it.

I did the same thing... bought the resistor and replaced it the first time, about a year or two later it started doing the same thing. I took it apart again to inspect it and noticed that the plug that goes into the fan showed signs of heat/burns. I went and bought the doorman kit with the upgraded wiring and resistor. Since then the fan has been working like it should..

Next thing to do is to find a fan that puts out more air... These aftermarket fans don't seem to put out the same air as the OEM fan IMO.
