Was also looking at some of their RTT's. It looks like the 3 is just slightly too big to put over a short bed unless you've got a cab height rack. Can anyone confirm or deny?

Edit to say that I'm okay with a few inches of overhang. I just don't want to run into 2 very specific mounting points and a tent that is inside of my rear windshield.

I dont think so. I had awning mounts on the GFC already so I just bolted it right to those.

Why do basically all the Toyota dealerships in the south valley suck balls?

Big two can gargle my big 2, Autonation is full of shit and/or rude as fuck, Earnhardt is sort of OK I guess but it's so far away from me...

Riverview gets memed on for charging out the ass for dealer installed mods but at least they have hosted some Tacoma community event type things.

As an aside, doesn't Toyota of America pay for ToyotaCare services? I asked Autonation if I could just get marked off as having done a ToyotaCare service and they just kick me 6qts and a filter and send me on my way.

Earnhardt did that for me back in 2017 when I first moved here, but the guy at Autonation (1) flat out told me the salespeople were full of shit for saying they could do that there too and (2) acted like I was asking for parts for free.

I don't want your poorly trained lube jockeys cranking on that plastic filter housing and/or dicking with my skid plates.:censored: Just give me the shit you get paid for anyways and let me go.

Liability. Your asking them to say they did a service they didn’t, then if you go home and do something to cause damage or incorrectly, then want to bring it back for warranty, they’re not going to type in there system that they fudged the info and gave you stuff to do it at home, it’ll say they did it and now forced to fix your mistake.

I've been okay with Riverview, so far.

Granted my experience with them is minimal, they still have plenty of time to piss me off.

Yeah I guess, but at the same time these are the exact people who will make up literally any inane excuse to weasel their way out of warranty service anyways.

If you wanna say it's strictly no-fudge and 100% above board that's fine, but then don't pretend to check fluid levels and/or blame the air filter for a dropped valve after your service bay folk are dicking with the engine for a different service.

Or goosh stop leak into a rear main you're supposed to be replacing...;)

Having a box of Mac and cheese spirals for lunch. Adulting hard core. Added some Frank's red hot sauce to it.

    Amazing.
