Yeah it's awesome. Small block Chevy on air ride. I believe it's on a Frankenstein'd S10 frame as well.

Theres two more in the back ground that are planned to get spliced together to make a double cab.

I like his Cab Over a lot. I hope he puts it back together someday soon.

It's got an LS, full AC. Capable of being a DD (as long as, you know, you got other vehicles to DD just in case)

The creak coming from my "suspension" was actually the NFAB light bar mount creaking as the frame flexed. Everything was tight, it just scraped the powdercoat off and would make ungodly noise over bumps.

I swear I just have shit luck with their products lmao.

So now where should I mount my set of Baja LP4's?? Ditch height, or roof?

You actually interested in them? They are kinda huge for ditch and roof on a "flat range queen" runner but would look right at home on something gnarly like your truck...

Haha yes and no. I looked into them but the price tag was just too much for my budget at the time. I’d be better off sending in my old onyx 6 to be upgraded to the modern ones.

Or you could just kick "that other guy" out of your garage so we can get going on the next phase of my truck...

That other guy and you are gonna have to fight for a spot in the shop after thanksgiving. He’s got a head start on gathering parts though. I guess the real question for you is what’s the next phase? We gonna sas it and fit some 37-40” tires

Only advice I have is be prepared to pay way more for a house than you think its actually worth.

Question about mounting the awning to a gobi roof rack.

When I look at the overland awning site they show on the product page the mounts being on the top of the rack.

When I download the instructions it looks like they want it to go under the roof rack.

To me it makes more sense to put it on the top like in the first picture but wanted to get the opinion of people who have used an awning before. Going to be mounting this up today. I've emailed the company but they haven't got back to me.
