Doubt they'll let you break the lease, and you definitely have a clause in your contract about subletting your place out. They're tight over there in my experience.

It's good that you don't have to rush. Get it done right.

    OMG!:goingcrazy:Where am I?

Hey folks, I "googled" looking for an off-road club/group/gang/tribe, etc. in or near Phoenix that might be Tacoma-centric or, at least Toyota primarily. Yes, this thread came up but I'm not reading through 4934 posts.

After 10 years gone, we moved back to Phx this fall and would be interested in some semi-organized events, get togethers, day trips, fun runs, beer, and that sort of thing. Where am I? The right spot? Wrong place? A little help/direction please?

Thanks, I used to be more active too! Now I'm fat and mostly just bitch about everything.

More hand-holding please: What's a "Monday meet and greet thread?" This thread on a Monday morning?

Here you go. If you head up to the top we have a Arizona specific tab that has a bunch of threads just for us here in the great state. There are some camping threads and other meet threads.

I might have a special circumstance since it was such a nightmare getting moved into the place. If you recall from this thread back in May it took weeks and threats of legal action before they finally fixed all the life safety issues with the place so I could move in. The lease does have a clause that says it can be broken with 30 day notice and a fee that’s essentially an extra months rent plus forfeiture of security deposit. So Id be out about $4000 which would be worth it so long as I do it before March. Additionally my neighbors next door are really cool college kids that I get along with, they have 5 guys in a 3 bedroom place so I asked if theyd be interested in taking over my lease and their answer was a resounding yes. Also the fiancé’s dad is a lawyer so Ive got options…:D

Heres an interesting one. Recently installed a Hypertech speedo correcto and used cruise control with it for the first time yesterday...

Speed says 82 which I double checked using GPS to be accurate. The little icon that tells you what speed your cruise is set to shows 74! Somehow the cruise control info is "behind" the speedo correction device, if that makes sense, and shows up as the uncorrected speed. What I havent checked yet is the accuracy of the odometer.

    Thanks will look into it!

    Thanks, will check it out.

Bit of both I suppose. I've done a good section of the northern side of the Grand Canyon. But thats about it in AZ for me.

Probably more on the north half Id say. further south anything is the the further I have to drive.

If you end up over on the north east side we have allot of mountains here to roam around in. Nothing really technical tho. Basically forest roads and all that. Good camping tho.
