I know exactly how she feels, however, I still have one at home. So just a lighter load, not complete freedom.

This is some pretty cool tech that was used to build this car.

Went to Maestros last night, was happy to find out that they have a 30% military discount. Nice place!

I actually had to get wenched off a ledge when 3 feet of the trail crumbled away as I turned the corner. I couldn't move forward or backwards or I'd roll down the cliff on the passenger side. Had to hold the brakes and hang out. It was quick they pulled me off and we were going again in 10 min. There was a bunch of pretty bad accidents this year and one was a flop because the spotter (Southland Overland) failed and I hear someone drove off a 1 way bridge.

Out of all the times I've been up there, this is the only time I have heard of issues. Most of the attendees were Midwest, Texas and Southern East Coast. Most of those places don't have Mountains or shelf roads

Oh okay. I don't follow much of the off-road stuff on the different platforms anymore so I must have missed the pictures.

I think eventually they are just going to call it the Toyota Summit because the mix of rigs out there now.

It was a car that went off the bridge and I didnt hear the flop was bad spotting. They said it was wet, muddy and a slip happened.
But hey, what do you expect when you have people with little offroad experience on a trail like that after rain?

Exactly. No one got hurt and all in all everyone had fun for it being such a wet week and trail closures throughout the week. You can't ask for much more than that
