Just setup the something yesterday. Going to be nice during football season. I just have some rabbit ears next to the router right now. I plan to run an additional coax to an antenna in the attic this winter.

My neighbor has a huge HD antenna in his attic and he gets maybe 10 more channels than I do and the same picture quality. Don't know if his setup is bad or something but I got one of these and it works great.

    (different brand)

Then I got this to work with plex

I have a set of rabbit ears in the attic that drastically improved signal quality for my TV in the living room. It may be more about getting the antenna away from electrical interferences (power supplies, router, etc), than the type of antenna I am using. There is only the one cable from the attic to my room, were the router is. I just plan to add another coax and attach it to the rabbit ears already sitting in the attic.

I got that exact same HDHomerun. I was quickly impressed at how plug and play it and Plex were.

I still stand by Sony vue for tv/DVR $40 is there minimum package now, but the list of channels and unlimited DVD/cloud and ease of functionality along with no contract has kept me for the last year and a half.

I was shocked too. No setup or anything. Just plugged it in, Plex found it and downloaded the guide. It was up and running in less than 10 min.
