And on a side note treat everyday with yourself and your loved one as if it were the last. Never know what could happen to change your life forever.

    Back to happy thoughts :)

These days the bachelor's degree is turning into the new high school diploma. Employers really don't care where you got it, or what your GPA was, or many times even what your major was (unless your job requires a particular major). They just want to know you got one. Spending a ton of money on a bachelor's degree from a top-tier university is a waste.

That is shitty as hell, hopefully they recover the data, if not hopefully it coincides with a new video game release to help pass the time.

Actually, Apple just announced that there is a delay in manufacturing from India. 3 month wait time.

Passing the time is easy. The itchy probes on your head for 3 days is what just gets to me.

But what good games are going to drop near the end of the month? That's when I'll have to re-do it.

I have an 05. Got a notice (SB) about 6 months or so ago that the warranty on them has been extended. I think it was like 15 years!!!!

I joined the Navy when I was 17... 1977!!! Started Active Duty Aug 78, retired Aug 98. Retired as a Chief (Turned down E8 so I didn't have to extend).

I doubled my pay the day after I got out of the Navy. Degrees are great, and often required, but in our field, with legitimate companies, there is always a "degree or commensurate experience" clause. I get pretty good corporate pay, especially working from home. I actually got a raise when I tried to resign to move here. My big debt is the F-ing Tax Man... but I still have a card up my sleeve for that 12.5K!!!

Speaking of Dogs, we finally got one 2 weeks ago tomorrow. She's not a runner, but we use a harness because she's a furry meal for all the wildlife out here. The Fountain Hills community loses at least 1 small pet a month that are reported. I'm told the predators in order are: Coyote, Birds of Prey, and finally Bob Cats. Javelina's got a couple dogs about 4 or 5 months back... but that was an anomaly. Owner was in the hospital for over a week as well!

    AMEN!

The degree shows you can finish something you started. Kind of important to successful companies! :)

I went to both AT&T and Verizon today.
Both total monthly costs are about the same per month with the phone payment plan.
Verizon will give us a little more for our old phones.
Still having a hard time justifying $749 x2 for new phones.

I was in the same boat last year, but ultimately they offered me $300 a phone for my 5s to upgrade to my 6s and Verizon has the upgrade to a new iPhone every year thing, but it does reset that payment plan.

Agreed. For what it's worth, my field in my company requires a degree. There's like 3 people that don't have them but have a shit ton of experience. However, they won't even talk to anyone these days unless they have that expensive-ass piece of paper.
