NEVER underestimate any job you can get as an intern in the field you wish to perseu. My wife is Director of Nursing at a smaller center and in Nursing you are all but unhirable just out of school with a Nursing degree and RN License, You HAVE TO HAVE some experience for then to want to hire you because they simply do not have the manpower to show you every little thing. But if you can prove you did something during your studies in a Hospital you are in the door. And for God's sake, don't be over 45 yaers ols and hope to get a job unles you actually can walk of water and can prove it!

That is why I am balking a bit at retirement, finally making 100k/yr (with some OT) and hate to pull the plug! You can do a lot of Tacoma mods with this if everything you own is paid off!

In all honesty the best piece of advice is the old adage, "it's not what you know, but who you know" I only have my current job, because I happened to clean the owner of the company's pool and I got to know the guy. Proved I was a good, honest, and hard worker and was able to get my foot in the door working at the bottom rung of the ladder on weekends counting inventory. Now I manage the whole machine shop and 6 other employee's.

The Fluffer is spot on here.

In an interview if you got the interview because someone there reccomended you then you are half way in the door. I have had to give a few interviews, hate to see guys all stressed out, hate to see guys dress sloppy. If I ask a technical question and get back BS, we are done right there.

Now Fluffer, take some time to go camping! Life is short.

In bold does count in the long run. Resume and no BS'ing on it and being able to perform in the interview. Sometimes it does help to know someone to get your resume to the top of the pile.

Places I have been, I haven't known anyone to be honest. Moreso making myself applicable to the job and valued is IMO what gets the win. I've interviewed waaaaaaay too many times and been fortunate enough to be able to select what I want and at the right total package.

So, saw a thing that KMF has some LED lights for RTTs that are ran off of the battery.

How long does something like that, or LEDs under the bedrails, run before the truck won't start?
